Jessica was fantastic as a server. Knowledgeable, responsive and overall awesome. Steak wasn’t seasoned very well, but was very tender. Burger was great! Atmosphere was pretty decent but mimics a lot of other restaurants.

Great place to have a very nice informal dinner. We had the fried green tomatoes (you get five) which were hot and very delicious! The fried catfish and shrimp tacos were also great. James was an excellent waiter.

Gander’s America Grill never disappoints! Their carry-out service is incredibly efficient, and my order was ready quickly and packaged perfectly. The classic hamburger was just as fresh, hot, and delicious as if I were dining inside the restaurant.
A special thanks to Brandon for providing outstanding service while handling the carry-out orders this evening. He was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. Great food and great service—highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Gander. I had been to their sister restaurant multiple times, so I had expected more of a home style type menu. I was pleasantly surprised it had a more modern selection (in addition to the heart stopping chicken fried options). Service and food were excellent. This is definitely going into our rotation.

Very nice place for Valentines Day. We ordered the lamb chop Valentines special, which came with mashed potatoes. We selected the stuffed mushrooms appetizer and for dessert we had the chocolate covered strawberries. Overall the food was very good. Christian was an excellent server.

I really enjoyed this place, from its American/pub fare to the cozy ambiance. They have a lunch and regular menu, with lots to choose from. I ended up going with the fried catfish po’boy. It had fried green tomatoes on it, and the catfish was a bit spicy, and the two just melded together perfectly. The fish tacos were good too. The service was good and the staff friendly.

My husband and I stopped in to see how good the food would be, and it wasn’t disappointing. The food is amazing, we started with the shrimp and the fried green tomatoes. We have eaten here several times, even for brunch. The food was so good we frequent there twice a week for our lunch date. There are so many good food choices. We highly recommend this place. I don’t want to forget to recognize the staff and how kind and attentive they are every time we go.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! It’s located on the east end of Louisville off the Middletown exit. The inside is very clean and has a nice layout with the bar in a separate area of the restaurant. We were very pleased with the level of service. There is plenty to choose from on their menu with something for everyone. Everything we ordered was served rather quickly with the quality and taste of food being outstanding. This will surely be added to our stops whenever we’re in that part of town.

We were there with a group of 11 on 2/23. We did something I’m sure can be irritating to servers. We changed up our seating before our bill was delivered. We apologize! Our server was Brooke H and she handled it all with a smile. She could not have been more gracious.
