Huge disappointment. Food was not fresh and service is poor. Take wasabi is really salty and has lacks wasabi favor. Chicken Karaage was pre-fried and they simply refried to bring it out so it is not crispy and oily. Wrong order of sashimi was served because the server did not take the correct order. I pointed it out that some pieces were missing I.e. hamachi and the server pointed at the snapper and claimed it is hamachi. The fried prawn head again is pre-fried. California roll was soggy. BBQ hamachi Kama was ok. Would not recommend

The last time I ate at Gami was two years ago. The food was just okay, but I decided to give it another try today.
Salmon Don: From the photo, you can clearly see there are two types of salmon. The darker orange pieces tasted slightly better, but the lighter orange ones were completely tasteless.
Dynamite Roll: I couldn’t even pick up a piece from the box without everything falling apart. Also, the taste was meh.
BC Roll: Very disappointing. This was not a proper BBQ salmon skin roll, you should call it imitation crab meat roll. There was only one thin slice of salmon skin, as shown in the last photo. I’ve never had a BC roll this bad before.
Overall: I won’t be ordering from Gami again, even though their prices are much cheaper compared to other Japanese restaurants in Richmond.

Their service is excellent and the food tastes really good. We especially love their kids’ bento box, it finally solved the problem of our child always ordering too much and not being able to finish it So thoughtful!

I love Japanese food and have tried many Japanese restaurants. I’d say Game Sushi is on the more affordable side, but the quality is decent for what you pay. I recommend ordering from their special rolls — they’re definitely the highlight of the menu!

This is the best sushi joint in Richmond. Very flavourful and fresh sushi rolls and sashimi. Their special rolls and aburi box are really delicious. The sushi chefs are very talented and creative. The staff are super nice, friendly and welcoming. My favourite is the aburi wild salmon box.

We came here on our search for the Okonomiyaki and we were not disappointed.
The service was excellent. The Okonomiyaki came with lots of seafood topped with Mayo and Bonito flakes. Every bite was excellent.
We will return again to try other items.

The atmosphere is very Japanese with nice table and rooms to be able to talk. The server were friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and hot. Lots of GF options.

This is usually my go-to spot for sushi takeout though I rarely dine in. Finally tonight we decided to dine in and ordered the sashimi combo but the quality didn’t quite justify the price. The tempura and chicken wings were pretty good though. Moving forward, I think I’ll stick to their traditional salmon sashimi when it comes to sashimi orders.

Tried Gami Sushi for the first time and it did not disappoint. The rolls were fresh and well made, and the sashimi melted in my mouth. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re craving good quality sushi.
