Such a wonderful little gem of a restaurant! Amazing and FLAVORFUL food, good prices, clean, and the staff is friendly, it’s just a fantastic little place!
The mango lassi was so good!
The gyro was AMAZING. Probably one of, if not THE best gyro I’ve ever had. The flavor was so so so good! Our server made a really good suggestion with an appetizer that has baba ganush(I don’t know how they’re spelled, sorry), humus, tetziki and yoghurt with the big bubble bread, again I can’t remember its name, and oh! Oh my goodness! So good! Definitely planning on coming back asap since I live a bit far. I’m going to be telling my friends to come here as well!

Visited Star Gyros and Grill in yesterday and was genuinely impressed. The service was friendly and quick, and the food was even better than expected. I ordered the pizza — it came out piping hot with a perfect balance of juicy, flavorful chicken, crispy crust, and just the right amount of cheese and toppings. The seasoning on the pizza was fantastic and gave the whole pizza a unique Mediterranean twist.

This place has been open for about two months, the owners have another spot up the road. The food here was fresh, plentiful, and delicious! We had lamb gyro and chicken mixed grill platters, and a really nice fresh lavash. They surprised us with a complimentary baklava (pistachio)and we all agreed it’s among the best we’ve ever had anywhere.

Ordered takeout and Anisur gave me a hot tea while i waited. He told me I could sit in the comfy booth and not in the to go waiting chairs even though they could have sat dine in customers at them. Very welcoming. Very attentive. Anisur was an excellent representation of this restaurant. Thank you Anisur! My only complaint is that the ezme being a dipping dish, should come with a bread of some sort. They do not give anything nor tell you that you need to order bread with it, so my order took a bit longer than it should have; they make the bread fresh and it was great after we got through the misunderstanding. I hope that they either include the bread automatically or notate on the menu that it does not come with bread. Anisur is the main reason ill be back and why I gave 5 stars. Without him, i would have only given 4 because of the issues i had, but he understood my complaint and helped me the best he could. I hope management supports Anisur in his strive for excellence and supplements this menu item.

This is our second time coming!!! For this restaurant being a hole in the wall, you do not expect to have an amazing service, amazing food that every taste is filled with such a delight!!! Personally, the lamb chops. Once you put them in your mouth they fall apart so beautifully and not a lot of places can make lamb chops that taste and are amazing. I would highly recommend everybody to come here.

We paid $80+ dollars (Tip included) for the lamb chops and lamb gyro. The food was bland and lukewarm, they didn’t have dressing for the salad, who doesn’t have dressing? Also they didn’t have any sauces like other traditional mediterranean restaurants (Hummus · Baba Ghanouj · Tzatziki · Harissa · Tahini sauce · Romesco sauce) Just hot sauce. The waiter or chef ( not sure of his title) was very kind and apologetic for the horrible food. Definitely would not recommend, it’s empty for a reason! & i’m sure the other reviews are not legit!

I recently had the opportunity to try the food at Star Gyros and Grill for the first time, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. I ordered the Chicken Adana and Chicken Kabab entrees, and both were quite dry, lacking flavor. I understand the place is under new ownership, replacing the old Cappadocia Turkish Restaurant, whose food I always enjoyed. The previous restaurant consistently offered delicious meals at unbeatable prices, which makes me a bit disappointed with the current offerings. Based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

My dad and I went to Orlando to go do some grocery shopping and for lunch we stumbled upon this (Turkish Cuisine) which my dad prefers over anything. For lunch I had the Lamb shank it came with rice, a nice salad and soup/ sauce on the side and my dad had a beef kabab and same sides as me as well. Delicious and very tender, Lamb shank meat comes right off the bone, the service was wonderful!
