We have been traveling to various pizza restaurants throughout Nebraska that aren’t your typical large chains. I know Gambino’s is a small chain, but we couldn’t find any locations outside of Nebraska so it qualifies.
On to the experience; The positive is the staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked questions about what toppings were on certain pizzas, etc. We ordered the BBQ pizza which was very tasty and a good compliment to the crust.
Unfortunately, and I hate pointing out shortfalls, but here it is. Right after we ordered and payed, we noticed that none, and I mean none of the tables were clean. Every single one had crumbs, or something else on it. Also, the floor was incredibly dirty. We could see kind of see footprints in the dirt and there were food scraps still under the tables. The more we looked around, the more we saw. There were trash cans that were full and we had to look through several plates to find a clean one. My wife went to the restroom and disclosed that the facility was no better than the main dining area and there were three empty paper rolls with no replacements. Again, I hate giving reviews such as this, but an eating establishment needs to be clean, especially a half hour after opening. I hope improvements can be made and a little more pride shown in keeping the restaurant clean because it is a neat little place.

The Kraken
We were the only ones there.. pizza is good but the oven needs to slow down.. the crust was soggy like TMNT .. Michelangelo would’ve loved it.. I like it just a bit more done ✔ kids working were nice and laid back.. the place itself seemed like a cool place tho esp for a small town..

The staff works hard and is always friendly when I order there. The feel of the resaurant has changed for the better. You can tell that the new owners care about their customers. They don’t get upset with me when I take awhile to order and that helps with my anxiety. There is a sence of family there and I really enjoy seeing that. Love the Mobster pizza (the fact that it’s called mobster might be a reason lol) it’s one of the best pizzas! Plus the 2 for $22 and a 2 liter deal is better than a lot of other pizza places. Keep up the awesome work guys!(:

Not sure who runs the place but they’re definitely not Italian how do you serve a calzone with no ricotta cheese. I was sooo disappointed.
Took your advice and just now ordered the lasagna. Never ever again to your establishment. Sooo small, the bread is larger than the meal

The guy working tonight (August 4th, 2019) was completely rude. We walked in at 6:30 and asked for a couple minutes to decide what we wanted. He walked away. Then came back about 5 minutes later and we ordered. After that he said the lobby closes at 7 and we will NOT be able to stay there and eat our meal. The door says open until 830 and online it says 8. We waited 40 minutes for our food. If we would have been able to stay and eat we would have also ordered drinks and our children would have gotten dipping dots. So there’s lost business. While waiting for our food the guy working was rude to everyone who walked in. He was also rude to the other lady working there and was ripping her out in the back and we could hear it in the front. Also told another customer who asked for extra buffalo sauce that they do not do that here. We stop here occasionally to have supper on our way through. Always thought if it as a way of supporting a small town business. We will take our business elsewhere. That is not a way to treat customers.

Great value for your money, really good pizza, flavorful and delicious, great choice in toppings and hey , if you dont like pizza, they have other stuff also! The crew here are great people also so stop by and enjoy a lunch hour at the buffet or take something off the menu to a local park or home , you won’t regret anything from here!

Stopped in to pick up an take delivery, had to wait a few min, no big deal except it gave me time to look around! This place is a mess, dirty floors, dirty counters and I didn’t even want to look at the kitchen of this is the way they clean the front end. This wasn’t the end of the day it was at 12:15 pm.
