Gambino’s Italian Grill, open since 1976! Award winning restaurant in beautiful Fairhope Alabama with sunset views of the bay, live music 7 days a week and outside events. Come enjoy, as there is something for everyone on our 5 page menu! We do only take large party reservations of 8 or more and only between 4 and 6pm as an arrival time. For smaller parties or later dining you can use Yelp waitlist from our website after 5pm or call ahead 20 minutes before your arrival and our hosts can add you to the list if we are on a wait.

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. It can be tough to find a parking spot and had to circle around the block a couple of times until a spot opened up. The host said it would be a 30 minute wait and we got notified our table was ready at 27 minutes. We ordered the chicken Parmesan, Alfredo with filet medallions, and kids pizza. The server was prompt with taking our order and brought out salad and breadsticks quickly after we placed our order. The salad was fresh and we enjoyed the dressing. The breadsticks were very hot and tasty. Unfortunately the entrees were not as good. The marina sauce on the chicken parm was too sweet for me, although the chicken cutlet was done well and I enjoyed it. The filet medallions on the Alfredo were rather bland and under seasoned. Both pastas were cooked al dente and had a good consistency though. I would visit again, maybe when the wait times are less, but would want to try something else on the menu.

It’s been about 30 years since my last visit…and it’s still just as good as I remembered.
Where we were seated, we had a water view (not all dining areas do). But regardless of your table is located, the atmosphere is great.
Our server (Benny – who is phenomenal) is the next generation of the family-owned operation. He was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations.
The food was really good and the place is well-maintained.
I only hope we get back here more often.

Our food was fantastic and our generous server Russ, was exceptional! Professional, efficient, checked on us regularly and anticipated any needs we may have had. Amazing food! Superb dessert! Splendid service! We got there shortly after opening and were seated right away. Our server was cheerful and kind letting us take our time ordering since everything looked good and decisions were hard. Salad and bread sticks were not Olive Garden version, they were so much better.
My daughter and I split the Shrimp Tortellini with tri-colored pasta. My husband and father-in-law each got the Gambino’s Taste of Italy (they had to bring the majority of it home).
The sauces are homemade and you can tell. It was all so rich and full of flavor. You could take a bite and just sit there with it resting on your tongue as you savor the flavors.
For dessert we each had a piece of Tiramisu. This was not your everyday Tiramisu. You could taste each layer with every bite.
My father-in-law now wishes he was Italian. Go. Enjoy the food and the atmosphere. You’ll love it.

We decided at the last minute to have dinner with friends there on NYE.
The restaurant was so accommodating to all guests waiting. The wait was not long at all.
The food was delicious as usual and our waitress St. Clair was perfect.
She was fast, friendly and very attentive.

We had an incredible dinner at Gambino’s in Fairhope, and everything from start to finish was exceptional. Our waitress, Moe, was absolutely fantastic—warm, attentive, and on top of every detail without ever feeling intrusive. She truly elevated the entire experience.
We started with the charbroiled oysters, which were phenomenal—perfectly seasoned, rich, and easily some of the best we’ve had. For entrées, we ordered the chicken parmesan and the lasagna, and both dishes were outstanding. The flavors were spot-on, the portions generous, and everything tasted fresh and homemade.

Our food was just okay. We had the spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce, and beef ravioli. For us, we’ve had better elsewhere. The meat sauce was different. It had some sort of stewed or pulled meat in the sauce. Not the best. But, the service was excellent from the servers to the support team!!! St. Claire was our server.
