You feel the love in their food but it doesn’t kill your wallet. What a joy to find an old school Italian restaurant that cares about their food and your experience more than having a pretentious atmosphere.

The service was great, friendly staff, the food was great, we’ll be back soon! We had the pull apart cheese stuffed bread first…I could live on that for the rest of my life and be very happy. Gooey cheesy yumminess with a fantastic marinara sauce (you’ll see the extra helping of marinara i asked for on my dinner plate pic).

My partner got the eggplant parmesan and devoured it, I got the Tuscan pork medallions with twice cooked potatoes and asparagus which I’m happy to say I’ll get 2 meals out of. The wine is incredibly reasonably priced, which is such a rare treat. Thank you for not being like every other restaurant and gouging people on wine

All of the above will make me happily go back for more, but the quirky fun little bonus is learning about the secret door to the speakeasy. That was the cherry on top of the deliciously grand evening at Gambino’s. Thank you for caring about what you do, it’s obvious to me!

Gambino’s Italian Restaurant is a cozy local gem that delivers on flavor and authenticity. The menu captures the heart of classic Italian comfort food with a few standout dishes that are truly memorable. Their meatballs are absolutely fantastic—tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with that old-world Italian taste that makes you instantly think of Sunday dinner at Nonna’s table. Another must-try is the Dillinger’s Amore, which lives up to its name—it’s rich, indulgent, and full of depth, the kind of dish you’ll remember long after the meal is over.
While the pizza is just so-so in comparison to their other offerings, everything else on the menu shines. The pasta dishes are cooked al dente, sauces are balanced and full of fresh ingredients, and portions are generous without being overwhelming. The service is consistently very good—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do.
The only downside is the atmosphere, which feels a bit small and cramped, especially during peak hours. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for the limited space. Overall, Gambino’s is a delicious, family-style spot well worth visiting for anyone craving genuine Italian comfort food done right.

Everything tasted really good. But the pull apart cheese bread we received was super doughy. We called about it was on hold for a minute or two to have the person take our number and say we’d get a call back from the manager. We never got a call back and that’s why I gave low score for service. It was just way to doughy and tasted doughy and was the only thing we ordered that wasn’t delicious. We should have went with the extra garlic bread it was much much better. Just disappointed we didn’t get a call back because everything else was so good and this was our first time there! I still suggest you go though the chicken parmesan entree was so freaking good and my husband loved his spegatti with meat balls. I’d just say skip the pull apart cheese bread as it may be under cooked go with garlic bread instead it was much better

You have to go to the new room in the back. Go through the front door and walk back toward the bathroom hallway. Push on the picture called Amalfi photo. Guess what…. it goes into a restaurant and bar. Like the God Father. Food and service was so good. Why go down town when you can stay on the west side. Save gas and money and enjoy yourself. Prices were super reasonable. We had to take half our meal home. Sophie was our server. Ask for her. She gave great recommendations and was so polite. Even when I said hey, can you help us. I was rude. I asked her name which she appreciated. You won’t be disappointed. We loved it.

Gambino’s is small and can tend to be noisy. However, the service was excellent and the food was even better!

I had the White Wine Lemon Creme pasta and my friend had the Penne with Meatballs. Both were excellent and definitely worth another trip to try more of the yummy sounding offerings.

I plan to return and recommend this restaurant for a relaxed friendly dinner.

Considering how prices are increasing, the cost of our dinners with appetizer and dessert was very doable.

We had the pull apart bread as an appetizer, and I had the canneloni. My friend loves spumoni ice cream and happily enjoyed a bowl as dessert.

I went to Gambino’s today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! It has kind of an unassuming exterior, I didn’t realize there was a real Italian restaurant just inside the door.

The service was exceptional. Prompt but not overbearing, the selection on the menu was very good, I will definitely come back again and try some more of the items. Interior decor was quite nice, unlike so many restaurants these days, Gambino’s actually looks like a real restaurant…

Don’t miss this one it’s a hidden gem!

Cute little place with absolutely amazing food in a strip mall. What a great find. Everything was wonderful! We started with the garlic parmesan potato crisps which were indeed crispy and garlicky and so yummy! What a great start to a meal. I got the half Caesar salad with lots of yummy grilled chicken & fresh grated parm. It was so tasty though a bit over-dressed and was plenty big for me. The croutons, which I would normally just remove: incredible!! You have to try them to know what I mean. We had the Scarface Capone pizza with Canadian Bacon, Pepperoni and Italian Sausage. It was cheesy and delicious. I’m not sure, but it had the look of a pizza cooked in a pizza oven. Really very nice. We also had the spaghetti with meat sauce which was quite tasty, well seasoned and served with garlic cheese bread – so, so good! Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was exceptional including the service.
We went at opening at 11am and were the only patrons at that time. I believe we were served by the owner’s daughter who couldn’t have been more patient to 1st timers with questions and she was so friendly! She did let us know they get very crowded in the evenings but they do accept reservations. She suggested next time we try the fried ravioli which is 1 one large deep fried ravioli filled with cheese and served with marinara sauce. Since all the dishes we tried were amazingly good, we will be back to try everything else on the menu including that fried ravioli!
I very highly recommend Gambino’s to anyone looking for a moderately priced, comfortable Italian restaurant with great tasting Italian food.
21 & over only because they have Oregon Lottery Games.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely and friendly staff that are eager to help. The food was absolutely amazing, I got the chicken parm….the tomato pesto pasta it came with was THE BEST pasta I’ve ever had in my life, I wanted to cry….that’s how good it was! The pizza my boyfriend got was great as well. I 100% recommend this place…..my only complaint is that they don’t have Fettuccine Alfredo on their menu, I would go there multiple times a month if they did…please add it!! ❤️❤️

Gambino’s was recommended to us for the excellent food and didn’t disappoint.
They give you very generous portions and the service was friendly and attentive.
The wedge salad was incredible and huge in my opinion.
The spaghetti and meat sauce was delicious and yes you can add meatballs (there is one buried there)
The Lucky Luciano pizza was fantastic, using the basil sauce is a great idea. La Estate’ Pasta is delicious.
Although completely satisfied after dinner we made the sacrifice to finish off with the Deconstructed Cannoli.

That’s all for now. Time to enjoy a few leftovers from our feast

We just went to Gamino’s for lunch today and it was absolutely delicious. The Zuppa Toscana soup was BEYOND amazing and the perfect thing for a cold day. The service was excellent, as well. Everything we saw being served looked (and smelled) scrumptious.
