The service was great, friendly staff, the food was great, we’ll be back soon! We had the pull apart cheese stuffed bread first…I could live on that for the rest of my life and be very happy. Gooey cheesy yumminess with a fantastic marinara sauce (you’ll see the extra helping of marinara i asked for on my dinner plate pic).
My partner got the eggplant parmesan and devoured it, I got the Tuscan pork medallions with twice cooked potatoes and asparagus which I’m happy to say I’ll get 2 meals out of. The wine is incredibly reasonably priced, which is such a rare treat. Thank you for not being like every other restaurant and gouging people on wine
All of the above will make me happily go back for more, but the quirky fun little bonus is learning about the secret door to the speakeasy. That was the cherry on top of the deliciously grand evening at Gambino’s. Thank you for caring about what you do, it’s obvious to me!
While the pizza is just so-so in comparison to their other offerings, everything else on the menu shines. The pasta dishes are cooked al dente, sauces are balanced and full of fresh ingredients, and portions are generous without being overwhelming. The service is consistently very good—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do.
The only downside is the atmosphere, which feels a bit small and cramped, especially during peak hours. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for the limited space. Overall, Gambino’s is a delicious, family-style spot well worth visiting for anyone craving genuine Italian comfort food done right.
I had the White Wine Lemon Creme pasta and my friend had the Penne with Meatballs. Both were excellent and definitely worth another trip to try more of the yummy sounding offerings.
I plan to return and recommend this restaurant for a relaxed friendly dinner.
Considering how prices are increasing, the cost of our dinners with appetizer and dessert was very doable.
We had the pull apart bread as an appetizer, and I had the canneloni. My friend loves spumoni ice cream and happily enjoyed a bowl as dessert.
The service was exceptional. Prompt but not overbearing, the selection on the menu was very good, I will definitely come back again and try some more of the items. Interior decor was quite nice, unlike so many restaurants these days, Gambino’s actually looks like a real restaurant…
Don’t miss this one it’s a hidden gem!
We went at opening at 11am and were the only patrons at that time. I believe we were served by the owner’s daughter who couldn’t have been more patient to 1st timers with questions and she was so friendly! She did let us know they get very crowded in the evenings but they do accept reservations. She suggested next time we try the fried ravioli which is 1 one large deep fried ravioli filled with cheese and served with marinara sauce. Since all the dishes we tried were amazingly good, we will be back to try everything else on the menu including that fried ravioli!
I very highly recommend Gambino’s to anyone looking for a moderately priced, comfortable Italian restaurant with great tasting Italian food.
21 & over only because they have Oregon Lottery Games.
They give you very generous portions and the service was friendly and attentive.
The wedge salad was incredible and huge in my opinion.
The spaghetti and meat sauce was delicious and yes you can add meatballs (there is one buried there)
The Lucky Luciano pizza was fantastic, using the basil sauce is a great idea. La Estate’ Pasta is delicious.
Although completely satisfied after dinner we made the sacrifice to finish off with the Deconstructed Cannoli.
That’s all for now. Time to enjoy a few leftovers from our feast
