We were in the area doing some car shopping and wanted a late dinner. Italian is always a great option, and this mouth-watering gem was the perfect choice. We are very rarely in the Albany area, so we don’t have much experience or familiarity with the restaurants. The menu for Gamberetti’s isn’t large, but you can find a majority of Italian favorites and daily specials – options for vegetarians as well. The lasagna was up there with my all-time favorites! Pricing is very good – appetizer, drinks, 2 entrees, and a dessert had us under $80 before the tip. The slow service was the only downfall during this trip where the waiter/server/busser was covering a large area, and it appeared to be more of an understaffed issue than the employee. The attitude of the staff was very pleasant, but kept conversations very efficient due to the next table’s needs and lack of help. The initial glasses of water weren’t served until the actual ordered drinks arrived, 25 minutes after being seated. Parking in the area wasn’t bad – free parking in the street and a small lot next to the restaurant for the establishments in the area. Overall, an amazing place that is worth the visit if you have the time available for a long dinner experience. We will absolutely visit the restaurant again!

Best dining in Albany, the pasta is top notch with fresh ingredients, amazing sauces, garlic bread & appetizers. The flavors are robust and authentic, and the atmosphere is elegant without being stuffy.
They offer large portions, abundant choices, and wonderful deserts. All in all, a great place to take the whole family. Highly recommended!

Been looking forward to it but I have to give it 4 stars after all. Initial reception was off and it improved but didn’t warrant 5. I had the beet salad, my friend had pasta. Beet salad was great. She said the pasta was good. We had bread pudding as a dessert and it was excellent. Never quite had anything like it prior. Also tried the flan. Again, excellent. At entry, we were seated at the bar per our request. We were the only ones at the bar. Restaurant was steady but not busy. Tuesday about 1pm in December 2022. Man and woman kind of bickered amongst themselves about who was going to take care of us and he actually voiced to us “trying to figure out who is going to take care of you”. It wasn’t in a friendly way like maybe one or the other was going on break or leaving but more like we were a hassle at that moment. 10 minutes or so went by. He approached and said he’d be with us in a moment. Another 10 minutes or so and we ordered our drinks. Kind of shouted the rest of our order across the bar as we couldn’t really get eye contact or a good approach. Once we got it ordered, things came quick. Bartender was pleasing to the eyes but not overly friendly. Not rude, just not present in the scenario. I ordered coffee martini, it was great. He never asked me if I would like another once I finished it and when dinner came, I had to ask for water. Again, worthy of 4 stars but the reception was off-putting and just didn’t really recover.

It’s probably the best Italian food around the Corvallis/Albany area. The food is fresh; sauces tasted “homemade”, not out of a can, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Huge portions! Go in hungry or be prepared to eat it more than once. HIGHLY recommend their pomegranate sangria and their Monticello lemon drop. The calamari was lightly crunchy and not gummy. I appreciated that they had impossible meatballs as an option. That day, they had an oreo cheesecake from a nearby cheesecake restaurant (I value the local, small business support), but their tiramisu stole the show.
The place itself is cozy for a date night or a special celebration. With a full-service bar and a nice list of wines.

The restaurant is clean and small, friendly staff, I had the Milano Dish. It was delicious I did not even want to finish it lol . The garlic, sun tomatoes, mushrooms and the chilli flakes were a really good combination and a glass of Cavalloto Dolcetto hit the spot . I think this is going to be my Favorite ristorante ✌️

Best restaurant in Albany that we’ve been to so far. Fantastic servers, excellent appetizers and incredible meals, cute and kitschy interior of the building, and decent prices. We had Chicken Gorgonzola and a Sausage dish with Marinara and pasta, and a garlic bread appetizer to die for. Worth twice the price! Be aware, family members think the menu is overpriced but we think the food is worth it.

The atmosphere here was decent. It has a more relaxing atmosphere at lunch time. They had a few lactose-free options which I really appreciated. They had no lactose free desserts though. The prices range from about 12 to 20. Extensive lists of different drinks and wines to enjoy yourself. The wait staff was professional and I do plan on coming back at a later date.

Husband and I went for a date night. We ended up at Gambrettis from a recommendation of a friend and I can’t say enough great things! Food was delicious, drinks were great! Will be back! Thanks for a great night.
I believe I had the shrimp scampi, and a mojito.
My ONLY complaint was the wait between ordering and getting our food, but that is probably because I was also sooo hungry when we came in.
