We had a fabulous meal here tonight. We had a table of 4 and we all enjoyed the experience, the staff were friendly and the place had a good vibe . The food was very good and we all thoroughly enjoyed our night .

A must-visit gem in Glasgow!

We were visiting from Australia for a short time and were recommended Gamba by the “Glasgow’s Good Food Group”—and we are so glad we listened! From the moment we walked in, we received a warm, genuine welcome that set the tone for the evening.

Every dish was spectacular. We started with the tuna tartare and the signature fish soup, both of which were outstanding. For mains, the lobster thermidor was divine, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the monkfish. We finished with a perfect sticky toffee pudding and a special crème brûlée served with a refreshing raspberry sorbet.

The service was impeccable throughout the night. We felt truly spoiled and welcomed. If you are looking for top-tier seafood in Glasgow, look no further. Highly recommended!

It’s definitely worth a visit.

Having know about Gamba for such a long time I am slightly embarrassed that it’s taken me this long to visit.
I’m glad I did.
My wife and partner sat down for a pre theatre menu and enjoyed every part of it.
First and foremost I really enjoyed the level of service and attention to detail.
Not many restaurants provide a canapés (mackerel pate with caviar) or provide bread. For me these small things make the experience more enjoyable.
We both really enjoyed a shared started.
My main course of Lemon Sole was perfectly cooked. Side of tender-stem broccoli was cooked just right for us! Chips were also spot on!
My partners meal was beautiful. Great flavours.
A shared Afagato to end it was just the right amount of food for us. The wine paired well with our meals.

I will definitively return to taste more of the à la cart menu.

Had a really lovely time at Gamba. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend the Sashimi, Monkfish with scallops and the sticky toffee pudding, all were absolutely delicious. A special thank you to Ramilla & Rehman who were so warm, welcoming. They really made the experience extra special. Hope to see you again soon! Seb, Prathima & Rajiv.

I’m not a food critic but I just had to share my experience at Gamba last night. Warmly greeted by one of the new owners, Raheela, setting the tone for top notch service all evening, we were served lovely cray fish hors d’oeuvres whilst we sipped a fantastic Fiano. Starter of king prawns, crispy fried sea bream main with side of Cesar salad and shared bowl of chips. I can’t recommend it enough, great wee hidden gem in Glasgow City Centre, a Glasgow institution seamlessly transitioned with new ownership.

Excellent place for a special occasion. The restaurant was lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service was not rushed so you were able to relax & enjoy the meal. The food was excellent. The 2 starters we had – fish soup and sashimi – were particularly enjoyable. The rum & raising creme brulee was a fine end to the meal. Highly recommend.

Fantastic good food. Very swift and comprehensive service. A very nice menu.
Unfortunately it was very quiet the night I was there so can’t comment on there atmosphere too much since there was only 3 other tables. But in general a very very nice seafood restaurant. Wl

I will be back.

What a lovely 3 course lunch we had at Gamba on Wednesday. Warm welcome from Raheela & the team, with excellent attentive service thereafter.
We settled on the 3 course lunch menu (good range of course choices) with Chef Gemma’s food then being well presented & extremely tasty. Fish soup is tip top!
Lovely well priced wine options to accompany our food choices, so it was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch & it’s safe to say, we’ll be back!
