Such a great spot! The food tastes super authentic and comforting. The gamja tang was so flavorful and rich — definitely one of the best I’ve had. The bossam (served after 5pm) was also amazing — super tender and packed with flavor. Portions are big, prices are fair, and the servers were honestly the sweetest. You can tell they really care about their customers. Highly recommend if you’re craving solid Korean food!

The most horrible service I’ve received in my entire life. Incredibly rude, feels like I was begging them for a refill. Never got the side dishes I asked for. I tipped just out of human decency but not because I wanted to. Very stressful and unpleasant dining experience, will never ever come back or recommend anyone to come here. Spend your money elsewhere, there’s so many good Korean food place in LA.

This Korean restaurant is the specializes in Gamja Tang (Potato Ribs Soup). You can tell from the name of the restaurant. The meals they provide are large and not expensive. I have eaten here many times.

First impression is this place has a great style of Korean food, look like some traditional meals of Korean when they want to hang out with friend.

Portion is large, nice presentation and well seasoned. I really enjoy the foods since It brought me some new experiences that I haven’t have from other Korean restaurants.

There was one tiny problem I had with the service. I don’t know if they don’t speak much English or maybe they just tired by the time I visited; the server didn’t explain much about the menu when I ask and always forgot my side dish when I asked for extra.

Definitely coming back to enjoy the special atmosphere of the restaurant and hope that I’ll get a better hospitality from the servers.

Best Gamjatang!
It’s well cooked and so easy to eat! The meat comes right off from the bone and the soup is not too salty! I think this spot is better than LA original gamjagol! Must try

Very delicious and good portions! You NEED to come here for their lunch specials. Incredible!! We arrived at 12:30 PM on a Friday and there was no wait. It’s a little hidden away between the golf driving range and Greenland.

They are known for their gamja tang and bossam, but I ordered the Grilled Mackerel and Doenjang-jjigae. Both were great quality and $16 for lunch. The mackerel was perfectly cooked! If you like oily and salty fish, this is a good option to try. The portions were big and very filling! I highly recommend.

Seriously a great place to go if you enjoy gam ja tang ! Their soup never disappoints and always has a really homey and traditional flavor.

The service is somewhat slow but if you’re kind to the kream waitresses, they’re actually very nice. Someone tried to cut in front of us once and the waitress practically pulled them away from the table and seated us instead – we didn’t even say anything nor mention it to her or complain so I was very grateful.

The soup itself is wonderful with lots of bones ! I love picking out the meat and getting the marrow. Wouldn’t recommend if you dot like getting somewhat dirty. Came with lots of good banchan as well !

Remember to get the fried rice at the end of the meal ! They use the thickened leftover soup to make some delicious kimchi fried rice. TBH this is always my favorite part of the meal. Enjoy !

Their Bone Soup has lots of meat, the soup is full of collagen, the taste is wonderful, and the portion is very reasonable for the price…definitely recommended when you’re in the mood for something yummy to warm that tummy.
