Love coming here when in Ocean Shores! Alot of complaints about the time it takes to get food but that hasn’t been my experience. They also make alot of it on demand so, for example, I ordered a Chicken Pasty which took about 25 minutes from a non-busy kitchen. I get them each time because I love them so much but its 25-45 minutes depending on how busy they are at the time. I have always left happy with the food and the friendly service!

This is always our first stop when we visit Ocean Shores. The food, the service, and the atmosphere do not disappoint. If you demand speedy service and hovering service staff then this place is not for you. However, if you enjoy laid back ambience, no-stress service, and like the people you are with then definitely stop by! The attached gift shop is amazing. I won’t even begin to attempt to describe the food – come and taste for yourself. Just don’t feel too overwhelmed by all their options of traditional Irish deliciousness.

I don’t even know where to start. This place is INCREDIBLE. From the moment we stepped in. The atmosphere transports you to an authentic local Irish pub. The waitress who sat us and was our server was so genuine, sweet, and attentive.
We ordered the cheese curds, soda bread, and shepherds pie with a side of smoked salmon chowder, as well as an Irish coffee and hot toddy.
Everything was exceptional.
Beyond the restaurant they had a tasting room with puzzles and games. The big Guinness glass on the wall is actually a door that opens up to their outside seating and cigar lounge. The door from the outside area opens up to their game room with shuffleboard and darts. You could genuinely spend the day there having a blast.
There is also a gift shop with imported goods the owner travels to different expos to hand pick.
Highly HIGHLY recommend. It’s a 2 and a half hour drive for us and we are already trying to plan when we can go back.

I absolutely love coming here! We have been three times in the last month and will continue to come back. The service isn’t super attentive but is completely friendly. The food usually needs salt and pepper from what I can see so far but that’s actually a good thing so that you can season it to your taste.
The live piano music was also very pleasant.

There was a short wait, but it was a Wednesday night and the server had a bunch of food in her hands when I walked in. Someone was playing the piano. The atmosphere is very pleasant, it looks like what I would think an Irish Pub should look like (never been in a real one). Comfortable, pleasant, very good service. I came in with VERY HIGH expectations for the food and they COMPLETELY EXCEEDED them. Ordered the Forfar Birdie and was not disappointed. Absolutely delighted with dinner!!! Veggies were hot off the stove, spuds were perfect, pastry was delicious and the gravy to die for. The chocolate cake for desert was good. Not exceptional, but good. However the dinner was so fantastic I still give them a 5. Oh and the soda bread was fantastic! Highly recommend them.

We party of 4 were there when they were busy. The experience was less then desirable…or drink order and food order were taken in a timely manner…while we there for 2 1/2 hours we where basically ignored…no refill on water…not told that are food will be along time they never did bring a salad. And most of that time was waiting for our food. After receiving our meal the waiter never returned. We wanted to order dessert but gave up…we asked a different waiter for our bill and paid the bill and left….and yes we have been there before and had a much better waiter. The food is delicious.

We had a nice dinner here. The service was fantastic, especially since they warned us that they only had two servers working, and asked for our patience. We appreciated them setting expectations.

I wanted to like this place but couldn’t. Atmosphere is amazing, live music was great. Not worth the $92 for chicken pasty, Mac N cheese, crab cakes, cheese curds, and chowder, and 2 sodas.
Service was inconsistent. Host was nice. Never saw the waitress again after food was delivered. Asked to pay, got forgotten about. Asked again. Apologized. Forgot again.
Chicken pasty was good.
Crab cakes were good.
Everything else was mediocre, at best. Food came out cold, mashed potatoes had cabbage mixed in with it and were bland.
Chowder? No flavor at all, just tasted like cream.
Cheese curds came with some weird ranch type dressing. Fried well, cheese wasn’t fresh. No squeaking.
Mac and cheese has minimal cheese and more cream. Very soupy. Was not served with garlic bread.

This place is amazing. Ocean Shores doesn’t have the best food but this place is hands down the best. My friend and I go around Washington State and rate the fish and chips and clam chowder. Thats from dive bars to high end restaurants on Seattle beaches. Ive been multiple places in this town trying to find good fish and chips so let me help you. Don’t go anywhere else for food. The service is great, the atmosphere is great and I still think about those darn fish and chips. Beer batter is hard to find where its not just a grease factory. Good job guys, Ireland would be proud.
The clam chowder is unique and delicious.
The gift shop has a really nice lady inside that sold me on some cute jewelry and a hat for my friend. Wish I could take this place home with me.

Much to my surprise we found Galway Bay in Ocean shores Washington. It has a wonderful eclectic atmosphere. The service was over the top excellence! The seafood chowder they served was amazing. The chef rotates between clam chowder and seafood chowder on any given day. There is a nice gift shop attached to the restaurant and offers all ranges of gifts and souvenirs for any budget. We will consider it a must stop on future visits.
