This place is top notch quality seafood! We did have had a dirty chair that I was going rate against but the food and service overshadows that issue.

I think our server is named Maddy. She did mentioned she was from the other location but she did awesome. The plate I got was called the Cajun pasta that comes with shrimp and sausage but I had them add crawfish and that was superb. The sauce was creamy but it wasn’t spicy. Not going to complain because the flavor was over the top! Every bite was just flavor after flavor. Then you have Texas toast to soak up the last bit of sauce to create a clean plate. We also got alligator bites. The alligator bites are fried but not to breaded and the meat is soft. It comes with two sauces. One sauce being sweet and spicy and the other sauce more of a creamy cilantro.

Definitely worth another visit!

EXCELLENT. I was lucky enough to be here for the Cajun ramen special, and it’s everything I could ever want. Flavorful, delicious, the steak is the best part. Highly recommend if you see it on the special menu, and it would make an amazing addition to the main menu if they ever decide to do it. Cheese grits make for a less salty counterpart to it, if you’re looking for a side. I think it pairs really well. Also very happy with the small but solid frozen margarita options, so the restaurant really has something for everyone: steak, pasta, seafood, wine, beer, cocktails. And the price is GREAT. Awesome service too! Hope to be back.

We normally go to the North location, but finally tried the South bc it’s closer to home. It was just as good! Thecajun fries are everyone’s favorite! The lighting was a little dim, but I don’t mind, just makes it a lot more challenging to read the menu. Great job! We’ll be back!

EDIT: we went back to celebrate Father’s Day and had a much better food experience (the waitress needs to learn the menu better since there was crawfish in a dish and I asked for clarification (I’m allergic to crawfish/lobster) and she had no idea what it was and tried to say it was crab. We had to ask her a couple times to clarify with the chef)

We order the:
shrimp trumpets (try them they are delicious!)
The boudin eggrolls (for me it was a no go because of the crawfish in the cheese sauce)
The seafood Chilli Relleno (it was freaking delicious)
A seafood boil (also freaking yummy)
A grilled cheese for the little one (he devoured it along with some of the crab)
Added more pics below
The food was pretty on point!

I absolutely love this restaurant on a good day but the last 2 times I’ve gone it hasn’t quite hit the mark. Our appetizers are always delicious (the shrimp trumpets are so dang good). However, our meals from the Mother’s Day menu on Mothers Day were disappointing. We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass with miso glaze and it was so sweet that it went uneaten. (Never expected to have fish that’s sweet and drowning in sauce, the presentation was beautiful but not the flavor). The risotto was crunchy on the inside and gummy on the outside. The red fish dish had good flavors but the fish was overly breaded. And the waiter told us as he was setting the plate down that they used a different pasta and he hoped that it was okay as he was setting the plates down. (Not a big deal but I feel that’s something you tell someone before you bring them your food). I even voiced my issues with the waiter and was told he’d let the kitchen know and that was the end of it. The time before everything was so spicy that we could barely eat it. (Apparently someone put Cajun seasoning on my child’s food and all in my crab boil plate (I had requested it on the side of my boil)).

My husband had oysters on the shell. I had grilled shrimp and the green beans are awesome. It was my husband’s birthday. They offered a dessert . It was so good. And the waitress was very nice. Great place.

Hit all the marks. Options and flavors were on point. I hated Catfish in Florida but Texans know how to do Catfish. These guys have Catfish tasting like Snapper it was delicious and clean tasting, not even a hint of muddy taste. The calamari starters were also great, not overly breaded, tender, and packed with flavor. The pastry chef should be arrested for that bread pudding lol it’s heavenly, surprisingly not overly sweet and at first doesn’t look like your Nana’s traditional bread pudding but one bite and you’ll be a bread pudding fein. Our server was patient, attentive and offered great advice on the menu as it was our first time, she even went along with my weird ordering lol. Overall truly pleased with the service and taste will deff be back. No bread pudding pic it was gone in a jiffy.

Kinda disappointed in GSC. The crawfish in the crawfish étouffée was very rubbery and overall had a bitter taste to it. We ordered the Cajun boil and added an extra egg to it. We never got the extra egg. The boil itself had no real flavor other than a slight heat to it. Our waitress was very lovely but that was the only enjoyable part of the dining experience. This was our first time visiting and we will most likely not be back.

I dined-in and ordered the Fish & Chips. Results… Very DELICIOUS, both Fish and French Fries. Also, good size portions. Great waitress service, provided by Grace. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Galveston Seafood & Grill. Thank you for my outstanding dinning experience.
