All in all the food was god awful. No offense to the restaurant they were chill there was just nothing we liked there at all. My friend had tamales and said it was tasteless and dry in the inside. The drinks were decent. But we really came here for the food. I was super excited for churros until i took my first bite and it was so CRUNCHY. And not like crunchy inside crunchy outside it was straight up crunchy. All in all my other friend said the tacos tasted like taco bell so we might just go there next time. But the staff definitely were dope people!

We went in with a large group and they accommodate us well. Some had to wait quite a while to get their food but again we were a large group so maybe there was that? Would have to come with small group to find out. This place is worth a stop if you are in Fairbanks or passing through and need a Mexican food fix.

Really needed a solo dinner and a beer at 4pm. Every restaurant in town can have bad days, but I’ve personally never had a poor time here. The beer was cold, the fajitas were sizzling, and the wait staff were attentive. A great chill atmosphere for family, friends or colleagues.

Got the halibut fajitas. Don’t! Halibut is not meant to be cooked like that… I realize now. The halibut came out way over cooked. Out was very very crispy. The onions and peppers were done nicely but the fish was very disappointing. The sour cream, pico, and guac were in a small bowl together and was very wet. Like something had water in it and it cause everything else to get yucky. The other issue I had was their chips and salsa. Why give me a tiny cup of salsa that chips can’t fit in? Big disappointment. I don’t see myself revisiting this place for halibut fajitas. My friends did enjoy their meal, especially some halibut tacos.

Just went there for a quick snack and desert, and left with non-existent service and a server who called my girlfriend stupid. Just because we were waiting for a long time for our server to come back with the check. Never coming back again and I hope that lady server is fired.
And again we just wanted our check but the lady server literally disappeared because she was “hanging out in the kitchen”.
Keep in mind anyone can speak Spanish and this attitude is unacceptable.

They suck with DoorDash I been here a couple times and I have had to wait over 30min past pick up time never order DoorDash or any online pickup from here.

The food and drinks were fantastic! The mangoda drink was generous, and both the chicken enchiladas and veg quesadillas were delicious. However, the service fell short as we had to flag down the waiter to place our orders. Despite this, it’s worth a try if you’re craving Mexican cuisine.

Oh, my goodness!!! Went to Gallo’s for family dinner, the end of the Super Bowl, and a day early birthday party. The waitress who served our table was so polite, kind, and helpful. She helped us find food that didn’t have any dairy and already knew which food items didn’t have any. The atmosphere was lively and exciting! ❤️

Wow. Where do I begin. My group of 3 showed up at approximately 4:55PM. We were not greeted. We stood by the front desk and waited to be seated. A server walked by and chose not to acknowledge us. Alright no problem they’re probably understaffed. No big deal. Little bit later they come by and seat us. Great! We’re ready to eat. I ordered the Mexican steak and my buddy ordered the carne asada. Holy guacamole. Can’t recommend you NOT to order these enough. The Mexican steak is far from what is pictured on the menu. The little stew-sized chunks of beef are completely unseasoned, chewy, and sitting in a thick soup of some kind of flavorless sauce. Like bro not even some salt on the meat or the sauce? The carne asada was lacking any seasoning. No salt. Nothing. My buddy described the carne asada as the driest steak he has ever had. You know how you can taste the love in good food? Well at gallo’s, I’m pretty sure we’re just tasting straight hatred in the food. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is drab and filthy. The service is uncaring. While placing my order it just feels like the waitress is just dying for me to get away as quickly as possible. Which like, I get. No one wants to work. But like come on I’m tryna ask for a side of lime and she’s just starting to walk away the second I get the name of the entrée off. I have been here before and it was typical run-of-the-mill kind of whitewashed Mexican food. But today was so off putting that I just have to leave this review. I don’t think I will ever be returning.
