The place was really cute and decorated with lots of Costa Rican items.
The food was great my fiancee and I had the gallo pinto with Costa Rican sausage (the spicy one!) and two empanada (cheese and chicken). We were so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the empanadas. They were freshly made and really good.
I liked the chicken more because there were tons of flavor and it wasn’t dry at all. (Try it with the pink sauce so good!!)
Gallo Pinto was also really good, over easy eggs sweet fried plantains (amazing) avocado, slice of fried cheese and spicy sausage HEAVEN!!!
My fiancee also had the crema and he really liked it.
The girl who took my order was also really nice and friendly! She was really attentive and brought out the food timely.
It’s not a big restaurant mostly for takeout but we went when it was not busy. We also ordered takeout and that was still amazing~~ definitely try this place!

Absolutely delicious lunch from Gallo Pinto today. I got the Beef Stew lunch special with rice, beans, green fried plantains. Happy to see this new Costa Rican takeout spot open on Goffle Road.
