Gallo is a go-to local spot & in our regular rotation. These pics are from various visits this year – from pasta & Caesar on Valentine’s Day with specialty martinis to a 90s party with apps (arancini sticks, burrata) everything is tasty. Love the pomodoro sauce and the vodka sauce, the pizzas are great as well. Fun atmosphere on a weekend at the outdoor bar or it’s also nice to sit at indoor bar in the summer with the AC and look out onto the patio. Lots of live music and events. Bartenders are great – shout out to Marina and Melissa!

i am blown away. the food- amazing, all around. appetizers, sides, main. all great. found this spot on vacation, coincidentally on half priced pizza night. the eggplant was literally life changing and i fear no dish will ever live up to this again. pizza was great too. the service was spectacular. Jenn is an actual superstar. she was knowledgeable, gave specific recommendations that she knew we would love, she was incredibly quick and attentive and took extra care of us the entire time. i couldn’t have asked for a better experience all around. no wait to get seated and great outdoor seating options as well. 10/10, go here

Half price Pizza Mondays. Not crazy busy. We order a pie and glass of house prosoco. Pizza was served hot 45 minutes later. Pizza was great. Just don’t be in a rush

Unfortunately our greeting here by staff at the door was lackluster- no eye contact or greeting. However, despite a very long wait for food – the waiter has very hospitable and attentive. The food was definitely worth the wait – the best pizza in Lewiston.

Found this place by accident while in WNY for lacrosse. Who can resist trying a coal fired kitchen. My wife and I ordered the meat lovers pizza. Watched the ‘pizza guy’ make the crust while I enjoyed a craft beer. The pizza oven was stacked with coal and it was cool to see the guy to Stoke it. The pizza was wonderful and we enjoyed it. The waitress was a true pro. Knew when to check in, was friendly (also a cutie too) and was great at her job. Will be back

Visiting buffalo for the first time and this place has amazing food and delicious pizza, wasn’t to excited for the artichoke dip. But other than that this place was great.

Atmosphere and decor was awesome, we ordered the calamari and a margarita pizza. The calamari was good. The margarita pizza was decent but needed a bit of salt, we were expecting a bit more mozzarella on the pie but otherwise it was a decent pizza.

Service was OK, we had asked for a soda and it never came, we also ended up never getting our waters refilled even after the server had said she would refill them so we ate half of our meal without a drink. I understand this happens from time to time when places are busy but there were only three other tables in the restaurant. We also were clearly done and had to wait 5-10 minutes for our check.

I’d definitely try this place again, but might not get a pizza due to it lacking in flavor / seasoning and the fact that it was a over 15 dollars for a simple margarita pie.

I was here for a private party for The Ghost Art charity event and I love this little town and the great outdoor space of this restaurant/bartenders. I didn’t have any of the hors d’oeuvres, but many people around were gobbling them up. I had about 4 beers and a Margherita and my bill came to 38.00 not too shabby.

For guy who likes his pizza I finally tried a Coal Oven Pizza. Nice little restaurant in Lewiston New York. The pizza was very crispy kind of a well-done style pizza they do use premium ingredients but you have to be until crispy pizzas. Not to mention their calabrese chicken wings with a little bit of sausage and blue cheese crumble we’re pretty impressive. They say that this is the place with a cocktail was invented but who knows worth the try if you want to try a different type of pizza. Service was good staff very friendly making sure drinks were always full price was reasonable..

A few weeks ago, some friends and I went to Gallo in Lewiston, NY where we celebrated our friend’s birthday. The birthday girl did the ordering, as we usually like the same foods. This time however I wasn’t too happy.

She chose the Fresco Pizza. I truly did not like it at all. It was basically a thin very crispy dough, with a big bowl of salad dumped on top. I would’ve rather had a salad or one of their actual pizzas that I saw passing by me in route to somebody else’s table. They looked and smelled good.

One of our other friends ordered a Chicken Caesar salad. It looked delicious, and she confirmed that it tasted as good as it looked. The atmosphere at Gallo was an ideal one for dinner dates or an intimate family dinner. I appreciated the art and decor. I would like to return sometime and order Italian food. I’ve heard from a trusted source, that they have excellent veal parm.
