The birriaqueso was delicious! The elote was good. Tacos and burrito were good, too. But our order was incorrect, and we were overcharged $4.
Overall, the food tasted authentic, and we enjoyed our meal.
Note that while they do have seating, it’s outdoors. In the winter, it’s hard to eat there with the cold, because it’s not fully covered.

Delicious! Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Charleston. The elote was INCREDIBLE. Best I’ve ever had! Victor was so friendly and kind, amazing service. Generous portions. Outdoor seating available at picnic tables under a tent. A little tienda on site as well with assorted goods and snacks and things.

I just need to explain to you that you need to read this. This is the best food. Best bang for your buck. You will never be disappointed. It will always be the same. It is so good. I come from Hannah to go only go there it doesn’t matter what is cooking outside. it doesn’t matter what is going on. You’re gonna stop by and eat there. Stopped by for my first visit and asked what’s good. Everything! I got the rice bowl with carne asada. This bowl is filled with delicious rice, pintos, cilantro, tomatoes, sour cream, and onion. Don’t play with me, this is too good! Tip your chef!

If you’re thinking about stopping, do it. My wife and I just picked up some food after months of passing by their truck and only wish we had stopped sooner. We tried their quesadilla and beef and chicken tacos, and man did they marinate and season everything beautifully. It’s the closest we’ve had to authentic Mexican food we’ve found in Charleston. We will definitely be making the trip back to John’s Island just for this truck.

I had an Al Pastor Tostado and a Carnitas taco. I ordered a burrito Al Pastor to go for my hubs.
The taco and tostado were fantastic – soft taco corn shell and crispy tostado shell.
I liked the crispiness of the tostado best.
Both had ample toppings and lots of protein.
Very good flavor and heat.
The chef who cooks and serves the food is so nice and friendly ! I will def be back.

In town on vacation and took the family to Fairfield’s village. Was so incredibly packed, over an hour wait everywhere – decided to take the 15 min ride to this one of a kind food truck. Perfect decision.
Do yourself a favor and make the trip. Everything was tasty; Beef cheek taco and the rice bowl were especially delicious.

The best authentic mexican food in the charleston area. Never had a bad meal here and can never try another place because it’s that good!! Our favorites are the beef cheek, birria tacos, and street corn. Victor is the best. Amazing service
