I had beef stew and it was fantastic. The stew had good amount of beef chunks, and the stew was flavorful. Super friendly and speedy service. Will come back.

Buffet $14.89/person: the beans were a bit salty, porkchops did not have any seasoning, menudo and rice was delicious, the chile rellenos were too greasy that I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites. I had to get up to ask for napkins, the waitress was not in sight for over 8 minutes. The parking is very limited with only 8 tables for seating. Even though this is in my community, we would not return to this location (Pendale/N. Loop).

I had the lunch special. The enchiladas. I couldn’t figure out if the red sauce came from a can or was made there. It tasted like tomato sauce and water. It was bland. The waitress was very attentive, but in good conscience I can’t recommend this restaurant.

I got the lunch buffet, mi esposa ordered the chilaquiles. I give the lunch buffet an 8/10. Really loved the mole and a few other selections. Coffee was very good too. Wife did not much care for the chilaquiles, but this isn’t surprising as she herself is a rather accomplished cook.

The food was not good , the food had no good taste items that were supposed to be hot were either too cold or lukewarm , the fruit and and salad bar also not fresh , the staff have no customer service skills they do not approach you to ask if you are ok , they are unfriendly and don’t welcome you or even thank you when your leaving. I regret dropping almost 40 dollars for 2 people. In this economy you need to watch where you spend your money and places like this when all you want is a good hot meal to enjoy and this type of establishment ruins it. Hope the management sees my review and reach’s out to me at least to acknowledge my bad experience.

This place closes at 5pm and we went at 4:30 and got kicked out. The buffet was closed even though there was food there and the kitchen was closed so we couldn’t order anything to eat. Bad attitude. I don’t close my business until its time to close not one minute before.

1st time here and it was awesome we are a family of 6 and this was the most affordable eat out we’ve had in years. The food was delicious, reminded me of my grandma’s food. The service was amazing and I should’ve asked his name but the older gentleman that helped us out was very attentive to our needs and super kind he made it a very lax place to be. Will definitely be going back again no doubt about it.
