Food and service on 05/26/2018 was great. One photo shows their business card. The other photo shows one Steak biscuit, one Pork Tenderloin Biscuit, and two scrambled eggs. The biscuits are large. They are called “Cat Head Biscuits”. I place a spoon on top of the biscuits as a reference on the size of the biscuits. Total of four photos.

I had the spicy chicken sandwich. It was tasty. I ordered onion rings which were on the cold side. The waitress was nice but told us the burgers came with any side. We ordered sides and she charged us for them saying “my bad, it was the platters that come with any side.
Bottom line, food was good. I don’t like the waitress misleading me though.

Some of the best catfish I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be going back for more meals. Atmosphere was wonderful, and the waitress and staff were absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend Houston’s. If you’re in the White Bluff area it’s a good place to go have dinner lunch breakfast. I wouldn’t miss a meal out there. I say go try it real soon!

Nothing much has changed except the name. Still poor quality control. Just got the catfish sandwich and the lettuce was old and brown. Really? That’s one of the most obvious things they should be able to see. I’d much rather get no lettuce than get some that may get me sick.
Since the prices have gone up here, it’s really a no-brainer to go down the rd a bit to catfish kitchen. Always great service and great food there. Not even close here.
The quality standards have really gone down in this place. I wouldn’t have given them 5 stars before but their service and food was always pretty good or decent. Lately, that has changed for the worse. During my last visit, before tonight, the fried mushrooms were undercooked (still had ice in the center) and there were alot of flies in the dining room. They were really bothersome. Tonight, my wife’s catfish was under cooked (still pink in the center), my hamburger bun was molded and the flies were worse than before. We’ve been coming here once a week but after the last few visits, we’ll have to take a break…

We have enjoyed going here for a number of years. But tonight it was horrible. The fried fish taste like it was all batter. The hush puppies were hard and the white beans tasted old and like they had been sitting over night. The chicken tenders were very dry and hard to eat. Now how to explain about the hamburger steak I asked for well done cut into it and it was rare. Waited and waited for someone to come around to check the table but no one came so I took my plate up to the kitchen and showed the steak at first it seemed like it was going to be a problem but they did take the steak off.
Not enough staff and definitely need cooks and waitresses but can’t blame the workers they had they were doing the best they could.
Definitely will not be back just too much wrong with most everything.

Have never been to Gallagher’s before. On this occasion my son’s band was playing there. The atmosphere was great, the staff were really nice and friendly. I ordered a 3 piece catfish fried Cajun style. It came with hushpuppies, white beans, and slaw(I chose the vinegar slaw over the mayonnaise) and I also ordered a side of fried okra.
Let me tell you this…that catfish was literally the best I have eaten! NO fishy taste whatsoever, very delicious. The hushpuppies were just as great and tasty, they were handmade, not this frozen stuff. The other sides were delicious as well.
I was very pleased with my dinner.
Oh yeah, my son’s band, (Country Roads Band) was pretty darn awesome as well!!

1st time to try. Food was hot and fresh when it came to the table and didn’t take a long time either.
The wait staff could have been a bit better, I would’ve liked a refill sooner and napkins, etc.
There was live music which wasn’t bad however it was extremely loud. With music that loud and trying to talk to someone over it gave me a bar vibe.
Will try again, may just have to make sure no music.

Really wanted to like this place. Has a cool feel to it and I’m a big fan of barnbuilt establishments. No one greeted us upon entry (family of 4) we eventually just sat ourselves. The table was sticky and we grabbed a high chair for our baby and it felt unbelievably greasy and oily and disgusting. We ordered boneless wings for the app and our meals for the 3. Eventually after multiple different waitresses filling our drinks we got our orders. The burger was awful I highly suggest some DanOs seasoning it would help a lot. We finished our food and roughly 10 minutes later the wings came. Bone in covered in ranch….not even what we ordered. Instead of giving us an option she took the wings off and said we would get us new ones…. We just wanted to leave at that point.

I’ve eaten here many times over the years. The food and service are always good. Enjoyed the catfish today, but was a bit disappointed they don’t currently have a frog leg supplier so none today. It was a first time visit for my wife and she enjoyed her crab cakes. Worth the stop if you’re in the area.

I have been to Gallaghers twice. Once under old ownership and most recently under the new ownership.
I ordered the Hamburger Steak- medium rare, but instead it was well done, very well done. My daughter said the BLT was good, lots of bacon.
Not sure I will return for dinner, but may try for breakfast someday.
