I do not live in Austin County but I love to visit the area. Lots of great family owned businesses here. Today, we visited Galileo’s Mexican Restaurant. Wonderful experience! First off, they offered great customer service. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place was clean. Salsa was really good, especially the green one. I ordered the Galileo’s Fajita plate. Fair prices and generous serving size. Enough to take some home to go with my eggs tomorrow. My husband ordered the California burrito. He enjoyed it.
Overall fantastic experience. We hope to be back soon!

This was my first visit. While the esthetics of the restaurant need some TLC, the food needs no improvement at all. Noticeably fresh, good flavors. Sampled many items, as usual on first visits. Must tries…Queso Flameado with Chrizo, Fried Avocado with Chicken, and Chunky Guacamole! You can’t pass up the Cheese Enchiladas and Crispy Beef Tacos either.

This place is AWFUL. Food, Service & Atmosphere. Food tastes like a frozen dinner. Service absolutely sucks. The waitress never came to our table after delivering the food which wasn’t edible. Such a waste of money.
