We LOVE that this little bakery is in our little downtown. It’s quaint, well designed and a perfect place to pop in and enjoy a little treat. You feel like you’re in France! The service is so friendly, they are happy to welcome you in and give all of the details on the pastries in the cases. Of course after all of the descriptions, the hardest part is picking! We like to order a couple different things each time and split them. Everything we have tried is outstanding! Thanks for bringing joy to the neighborhood!!

They even had a pop up coffee at the weekend. Her coffee was amazing too. The baked goods are on point. I love Galette’s coffee too.

Been wanting to come here for ages and it did not disappoint. I got a London fog cruffin which was phenomenal. Nice location near the new town green too. Probably in my top three local bakeries. Can’t wait to return.

I live in NY and have never been to this bakery, but I purchased a gift card for friends in Avondale Estates. The pastries sound/look amazing based on the photos, but the owners deserve a 5 star review for their exceptional service alone. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the gift I ordered was received, which they didn’t have to do. Thank you again to the Galette team for their kindness and their willingness to go above and beyond for their customers. I wish I lived closer so I had an excuse to give them more of my business!

This place is amazing. My wife and I used to get their sourdough croissants as a special treat back when they were a little stand at the Avondale Farmers Market. And when we told people about them we would suggest that they cut the croissants in half, because they are so perfectly made that they look like a fractal on the inside. It is like a work of art.
Now that they have a brick and mortar store, they have so much more stuff. Bread, pastries, desserts…
The only thing to be aware of is that this is a little place. There are only 3 or 4 tables inside. There is plenty of nice seating outside though, and a nice park is a short walk away.

As a former pastry chef, I am simply blown away by everything I had today at Gallette. The tomato soup was the best I’ve ever had, followed by a spice donut, and vegetarian quiche. Also took two anti-ICE rice crispy treats to go, as well as a “Cultured Cappuccino” by Curated’s pop-up barista. My morning could not have started more deliciously.

Saw this online last night was excited to stop this morning as I pass daily. Got the Ham n cheese croissant. Very disappointing, 1 piece of Ham,very salty, in middle not tasting any cheese, really nothing inside For $5.50 + tax I expected more. We’re are the donuts?

Oh Galette, I fear you may be my one true love. The best thing to get is the pistachio croissant but the second best thing to get is everything else. I walk two miles to get here, I walk two miles back, Ive never regretted doing so. If you like beautiful flaky things full of butter, both sweet and savory, you will enjoy being here. Go with the expectation youll get more than one thing, because although the prices are very reasonable I struggle not to get $60 worth m goodness each time. The only critique I have is the coldbrew isnt great, but the chai is amazing, the hot coffee is great, and why couldn’t you want a warm beverage to complement a gorgeous croque monsieur galette? Go here. Do it. I will literally pay for your order if youre not sure. Go!!!!

Ordered the sourdough croissant and a loaf of sourdough bread and the croissant is one of the best I’ve ever had. The pastry selection was great and it all looked fantastic, I’ll for sure have to try it again.

Popped in for a quick bite while running errands nearby and had a delightful experience! I had the ham & brie baguette which was perfectly crunchy & creamy and a warm, house-made chai which was just right and not overly sweet & syrupy as they can often be when a premade mix is used. I also picked up some spiced donuts for later which were also excellent!
