My husband took me here for a congratulatory dinner after my graduation. This was our first time and I think it was the perfect place for this occasion or any occasion. Everyone was attentive, one server told me she was inspired by the fact that I finished what I started. Our server was super friendly, informative and attentive. I definitely recommend this establishment.

Dinner at Gelato Brazilian Steakhouse turned into one of those meals I kept thinking about long after I left. From the moment I sat down, the atmosphere felt lively yet comfortable — the kind of place where you can relax and take your time enjoying every bite.

I started with some of the sides, and honestly, they could be a meal on their own. The sweet plantains were perfectly caramelized and comforting, the cheese bread came out warm with that addictive chewy texture, and the fried polenta was crisp on the outside and soft inside. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

Then came the meats — juicy, tender, and carved with that unmistakable Brazilian steakhouse flair. Each cut was flavorful and satisfying without feeling heavy. What truly elevated everything, though, was the chimichurri. It was bright, herbaceous, and absolutely divine — I found myself adding it to nearly every bite.

The whole experience felt indulgent in the best way: great food, generous service, and a welcoming energy that makes you want to linger. If you’re in Tempe and craving a satisfying, flavor-packed dinner, Gelato Brazilian Steakhouse is definitely worth the visit. I left full, happy, and already planning my return.

This is the spot! It is Thanksgiving Day and I am so happy that they are open. I can’t say enough about the staff! Incredibly friendy, professional, and fun.

The food was amazing! The choices of meats, chicken, lamb, were delicious.

The salad bar was incredible and all the warm sides to go with it. Fish, rice, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese …. so much wonderful food.

Loved the turkey and stuffing for Thanksgiving.

The atmosphere inside was spot on. The bar and bar seating, outstanding. The Chandler location, great. Lots of parking.

I may be spoiled by locally owned and operated Brazilian steakhouse in Tucson. The best food here was the cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto – absolutely fantastic!
Unfortunately, that should not be the case at all Brazilian steakhouse. Couldn’t chew through gristle/silverskin in the fraldinha. Had to take the pieces out of my mouth and put them back on the plate. The lobster bisque was very good, and came in as the second best food item. On a more positive note, my server Logan was top notch.

BAD Experience and customer service.

I understand its Valentines but my partner and I waited 25-40 min between meats and even bread. And I kindly reminded the server if we could have bread while we waited. 20+ minutes everyone around us who had just been sat got bread. After an hr and we advised the waitress we hadn’t we had any meat cuts. She had the server come to our table. He gave us one piece of meat each and walked away. Didn’t ask amount what temp.We literally had three pieces of meat since we sat down for over an hr and 30min. We advised that we didn’t understand how their servers would skip full on areas, including ours. The only options that continued to pass were pineapple and pork sausages. We counted the pork sausage walking by 7 times.

I have work the next day and I told waitress we couldn’t keep waiting to have a full meal. She sent over another worker and we explained the situation. She asked if she could make it right but we had already been there two hrs and I couldn’t be out late. As i had work the next day. She sent our original waitress over again with a 20% on the table. We found that unacceptable. 2 hrs of seating and we only had bread and the small plates of potatoes and Mac and ch3ese while we waited for meats. Waitress sent the other worker again. We advised we came for the steak cuts and we count how many pieces we each ate (3) and all the other waiters that passed were pork susage and no steak. I even asked her to review the cameras because of frustration.

She walked away and sent the manager. He said he wished I would have waved him down and told him. I advised that I shouldn’t have to hunt down management for service. He agreed he gave us 50% off the meal. He did ask if he could make it right but I didn’t have the time and the experience had been ruined.

The place was so unorganized and chaotic place (people standing outside even with reservations).People seating without drinks or waitress for 20 min. They clearly didn’t have the staff, necessary.

I want to include- I have been to Brazilian steak houses with better meat options and customer service. I wanted to excuse because it was Valentines and the waitress did state she was suppose to have help. But you go to a steak house for the meat cuts. Not cheap, and filler items like pinneaple cuts, grill cheese bites being passed out on a tray. Even the cold cuts and small plate area was limited in comparison to Fogo de Chao

We were given a little discount card for 20% for the next visit if wanted to give them another try. (1 per party and expired with the coming month . Comical**

**We did tip our waitress as it was not her fault, the company over sold tables and it showed **

This was the single worst dining experience my husband and I have ever had. We made a reservation for our anniversary. As soon as we got there they lost our reservation. We showed them the confirmation and they refused to honor it, then made us wait 35 min to be seated. During dining they lost our drinks, then when I did get my drink it tasted like just milk. We asked for pineapple 6 times and watched the servers walk right past us (yes our green marker was out) with it at least 4 times. Then our waitress disappeared but not before complaining that she had been there since 10am. We waited 15 min for our creme brule that came out cold and soggy. The nice waitress who finally helped us tried to loop in the manger, who then walked in the other direction and never came to the table. She let the waitress do her job. Over the time we were there, one employee out of the many we interacted with was sincer about our experience and our anniversary being ruined. And to top it all off as we where walking out we saw our waitress sitting on a rock in the parking lot waiting for her ride. She never passed us off to another serve or said anything to us.

We had reservations for 6 pm on Valentine’s Day. We showed up 10 minutes early and the host said it will be up to a 30 minute wait. So we stood around waiting. I checked in at the 20 minute mark only to find out THEY GAVE OUR TABLE TO ANOTHER GROUP! The host completely crossed our reservation off their list while we were standing there in the lobby. We asked to speak to the manager who said that they had another party that had been waiting “a long time” in the bar area so they decided to give our reservation to them! They ended up giving us the next available table. The food was delicious but had to wait 30 minutes after we were done eating for our waitress to bring us our bill. My friend had to literally walk all around the restaurant to hunt down our waitress to pay. They still had a huge line of people waiting outside when we left. If they’re that backed up on Valentine’s Day, you’d think they would be inclined to turn tables over quickly. Never visiting again.
