I am absolutely thrilled with this place! 10/10! I highly recommend it to everyone!
I had wanted to visit much earlier, but for some reason, I kept changing my mind. Now, for my birthday, we suddenly decided to come here for dinner.
Saying I was impressed is an understatement.
First of all – the place is huge! It’s interestingly designed in a galaxy style, very modern. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. Everyone is quick and efficient, no time wasted.
The food is excellent! I mean… I’m a huge fan of Korean BBQ, so for me, this was heaven on earth. There are plenty of appetizers, sauces, desserts… and everything is included in the price of lunch or dinner, depending on when you come.
All in all – I can’t wait to come back again!

Go during their Lunch Hours (M-F, 12-4PM) and it’s so worth it. Their portion sizes are small so it’s good so that you can try a bunch of new things and also don’t over order. You get your own hot pot grill and share the middle grill. The hot pot tasted a lot better than the grill selection. Grill selection had bulgogi I but it was too thin and mixed sometimes so it just cooked into a blob, I would just focus on hot pot to be honest. There’s free ice cream if you dine-in after your meal- gotta pay if you want to take it home. This place is way better than Iron Age

I love the galaxy theme. I have always wanted to try hot pot so I’m glad I was able to. Especially given the vegetarian options. I enjoyed the food. Although, it was expensive. Def a treat meal. But something that can be done all the time. I wouldn’t go back not because I didn’t like the food. But because a girl has to survive in life and eating out isn’t affordable. Though that’s not everyone’s problem. Such is life, I guess.
Unemployment, financial and academic instability are a theme in my life. Not trying to throw a pity party or be negative . I just speak my truth so the divine knows that it wasn’t for the lack of trying for I am not the one who will continue bending towards others bad behaviors. Even if I’m written off as. Something I am not. My soul will remain at unrest until it’s provided the justice it deserves across all dimensions of time, space, and reality against all who have wronged me.

I love this place. I was there three times and I had good fun. I love their spicy soup. I also ordered plenty of food to grill. This restaurant is excelent. People place order on a tablet and get everything right away. The food is raw so it requires to grill except the soup which requires to warm only. The grill is in the middle of the table. When I was there the first time I asked for help and workers helped me a lot. The food is fresh. You can order vegetables, fish, steaks, sea food etc. They also have sushi and desserts like in a china buffet but quality is much better. I highly recommend this place. I will be back there soon.

Galaxy Hot Pot and Grill is one of the best all-you-can-eat barbecue restaurants. Atmosphere is great , servers and staff are awesome —overall service is excellent . The menu may seem confusing initially , but it’s super simple: Order your favorite meats/veggies for live barbecue , plus soup base with veggies , seafood , or meat for hot pot. Soup and contents cook at the table , so order before heading to the sushi bar (sushi is great here! Just ensure wasabi isn’t dry and ginger is thinly sliced in reasonable sizes) and salad bar. It’s all-you-can-eat AYCE ️; they charge for large leftovers (except soup). Save appetite for desserts !

I’m gonna be honest, when I was walking up to this place I was so confused. I thought I for sure had the wrong spot. Turns out I was the wrong one. The food was so good, and I mean SO GOOD. And I’m not saying that because I cook it (kinda). The Ribeye was phenomenal, the broth and food choices are great. They have a decent selection of beers and cocktails. And plenty of other drink options. I knocked the service a star due to having to wait like 20 minutes after we were seated to get us started. But honestly they are very tentative and will get you anything you need. I can’t wait to go back, I would’ve already gone back if I wasn’t at work all the time.

I got to try the Szechuan, Korean Seafood, and Mushroom broth and they were fine. The Szechuan has similarities to any other hot pot locations (e.g. Happy Lamb) but lacked that complexity of flavor (typically there’s a meat node to it) and was spicy to an extent. You’d have to be comfortable with spice to get that broth. The Korean Seafood lacked flavor complexity—this was literally just Gochujang water with seafood (squid, mussel, clam, and imitation crab). I wouldn’t willingly get the Korean Seafood in the future. I do think the if there was a combination of the Korean Seafood and Szechuan it would be decent. As for the mushroom broth, it was mild, pleasant, and clean! I would recommend that one.
I noticed the lack of automation causing delays in orders and stress for the servers. I think it would be more beneficial to create a self-serve bar for vegetables and other non-meat items instead of having manual delivery from the servers. This can be reflected by the “stingy” amounts of vegetables given to customers. In the second image, I ordered 2 servings of the Oyster mushrooms and I was given 4 small pieces. As a result throughout the night, I had to order minimum (2-4x) the amount in order to get a decent serving of that particular item, whether it be meat or vegetables. I did notice that they were generous with seafood so one order of it sufficed. The sauce bar was great!
Now moving onto the meats, the best option would be the Beef Belly. That one was great. I wouldn’t recommend getting the Galaxy steak (the one with butter in the picture) or the Bulgogi/Spicy Bulgolgi (had a distinct after taste)—it really wasn’t the best when comparing it to other KBBQ restaurants I’ve been to. I can’t remember if it was the Prime Ribeye or Brisket, but one of them was fine and the other was kind of grainy but still enjoyable. I liked the tripe, mussels (New Zealand), clams, all the mushrooms, and the Udon. The Galaxy Shortrib was fine as well—more on the fatty side.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience, the service was great, and I would definitely come back in the future.
