After hearing such great things about Galaxy I couldn’t wait to try it one night. The ambiance was cozy with romantic lighting and the decor made you feel like you were stepping back into time. There’s not many places in Western Mass that you can go to and get true craft quality cocktails made with fresh ingredients or a seasonal menu with inspired dishes from around the world encompassing all flavor palettes and that right there is what makes this place an absolute gem in the area! I ordered the Fried Chicken Dinner and the Bahn Mi Noodle Dish and both entrees were packed with flavor. The portions were good size. Everything came out in a timely manner and didn’t feel too rushed. The service was great and the bartenders were very friendly. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in town visiting.

Not many options if you’re picky or have allergies. No substitutions. I get it, but it’s mediocre and frustrating if you can’t have food prepared in a way that conforms to what is needed with allergies… Which in this case, we did. Especially at the price point. Really 2.5 stars, but I rounded up.

This restaurant is a true gem in West Massachusetts. Every dish we ordered was delicious, with an excellent taste balance and preciously decorated. As explained by our waitress, Galaxy is own and managed by the restaurant’s chef.

Food is good, not spectacular. Lots of extraneous sauces and seasonings that don’t do a good job of covering that the food is “fine” but not great. Outdoor patio is nice, when open.

We are new to the area and so thankful Galaxy is just around the corner. The cocktails, beet salad, coffee & chili rubbed steak, and espresso pot de creme were dynamite. The cherry on top was the friendly service and memorable staff. It is clear Galaxy is run by an amazing group of individuals.

After lamenting the shortage of great restaurants in Northampton, a friend recommended Galaxy. Absolutely blown away. My vegetarian partner said the mushroom tacos were one of the best things he’s eaten at a restaurant. Everything we had was phenomenal, and a special shoutout to the chocolate mousse, which was truly to die for. So so happy to have Galaxy in the neighborhood!
