Everything about the restaurant was amazing. We are vacationing here and this was our first stop. Our server Thomas was so friendly. Our food was phenomenal, I dont know how rice makes a sauce an explosion of flavor but it does! The crab Maison I could eat for every meal! What a way to start our stay!

Our meal here was socially immersion! We sang along celebrating 5 birthdays (none in our party) over 2 hours. The environment was surprisingly raucous despite jackets being required for gentlemen.
We really enjoyed our food, a variety of classic creole appetizers and dishes. We would happily return for the excellent food even though party members with partial hearing loss struggled with the noise.

I was about to give up on the New Orleans food scene and chalk up the reputation to urban legend. Then we stumbled upon this gem of Cajun flavor and southern hospitality. Nathaniel was a treasure trove of information and recommendations, he made the experience. We had a wide array of apps, personally the sweetbread and turtle soup were unique and memorable for me. We finished with a ribeye that was seared and seasoned beautifully. The cocktails were refined and so far above the touristy surroundings.

Perfect atmosphere, food, and drinks. We walked down Bourbon looking for good food, decided not to wait an hour at ACME, and found Galatoire’s, and absolute made the correct decision. Alyssa, our waitress, did an outstanding job, so much so her service stood out among superior food and drinks. Loved the whole experience. Awesome restaurant, awesome experience.

Need a cool place to chill on Bourbon Street? Galatoires 33 is the place to be. Near the corner of Bourbon and Iberville. When the drinks list is this large, you know they got you covered. And there’s never a dull moment, cause the party from outside drifts inside and joins the party inside, which then drifts outside. I’m smiling. Happy Carnival y’all.

A New Orleans classic – great food, service and atmosphere. This was one of our first dinners and several of our group had eaten there previously. It matched their description as being one of the best restaurants in New Orleans.
Our waiter, Nathaniel, described the menu and amazing appetizers, which we of course ordered. Excellent creole food.
Reservations and dinner jackets are required.

We have been at Galatoire’s before and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, this time, we had a poor one. The service was slow despite it being a Tuesday night in September. The meal took nearly 3 hours, and we watched tables that came in after us turn over before we received our entrees. Some of our parties meals were room temperature. But the biggest issue was that the manager on the floor and waitstaff did not seem to care. It was a very disappointing experience.

Food was spectacular, staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (even though we didn’t realize there was a dress code and we were banished to “the green room”). What an amazing experience and as always, NOLA knows how to do food.

We used the bar self-seating. Got a bottle of wine, the sweetbreads, duck, and some other stuff. Would go back. Service was quick.

My wife and I walked in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation. We were seated immediately, and we were able to order unrestricted off the regular Galatoire’s menu. Fabulous atmosphere. Great food. Friendly staff.
