I’m not a big Sushi fan (price mainly), but my son is and our trip to Carlsbad Caverns consisted a visit to the Roswell International Space Museum and an offering for my son to eat anywhere he’d like and he chose “Galactic” Sushi…
As with any great Sushi place, the cost was a little high… but that’s sort of expected when your meal is crafted…
Our server was delightful and full of stories… The owner was friendly and knowledgeable, and we were made to feel at home.
All in all, the meal was wonderful… I tried a couple of the “spicier” dishes and was very pleasantly surprised… We ordered three dishes and soft drinks with the ticket coming to about $45… Guess I could have gotten away a little cheaper, but I had to give those spicier dishes a chance.
Highly recommend to anyone who loves Sushi and to anyone who eats it just because they love their children… 🙂

A pleasant surprise in a tourist town in the middle of nowhere. The owner was very nice and extremely friendly. The food was delicious. It’s hard to find good sushi in the desert. We got a couple bottles of Area 51 Ale on the house which was tasty and a cool keepsake. I’ve been to Roswell twice and visited Galactic both times. Looking forward to the next trip.

On our last night in Roswell we stopped here for dinner. It was one of the only local restaurants open on Sunday and we were very impressed. The owner greeted us when we walked in the door and we were instantly seated. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. The sushi didn’t disappoint at all, it exceeded our expectations.

At the time of visit, only game in town for sushi. Good menu for Roswell. Not too sure of how fresh the fish would be, would have to be flown in. Son liked the California rolls best. Update!! Closed Permanently.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Place was filthy. Say ourselves down to a dirty table. Which I had to ask to be cleaned. Restaurant was short on supplies, could not be rolls we wanted. Waited an hour to get two rolls that looked awful. Rice was not even white. Ingredients were not fresh. Had one piece of each roll and decided to leave. Staff were turning away customers and not taking additional orders and pinned it on the holiday. When they just didn’t have ingredients. I have no idea why this place is rated so highly. Would not recommend, ever.

Mostly thawed from frozen, as expected. But not bad all things considered. Quite pricey, but knowing what it takes to get fresh fish in the desert justifies the cost. Good service. Small little place.

Cute little sushi place with a wall of cool photos. The food was find and decently priced. I sat at the sushi bar, and classic kaiju films played on the TV.
The photo wall displays many figures from the sci-fi/space community. Other than that, some alien movie posters, and old monster movies on the TV, the atmosphere is nothing really special. It’s cute, but not the best sushi I ever had. I love sci-fi and sushi so I’d eat here again if I was in the area.

I usually stop here on my way through Roswell. I always enjoy the food I get. The chef is very personable and down to earth. The service is a bit slow at times, but the food more than makes it worth the wait!

I liked it very much. Bill was 49.99 left the server 5 dollar tip. Got charged 59.00 on my card. There was an extra receipt not filled out, didn’t think anything of it. Wondering if the server took an extra four dollars for her tip.

Horrible place. Inedible old freezer burned fish. They have no clue what good fresh fish looks like. Ours came out discolored, Brown and tan at the edges and hard to touch. Smelled like old rotten fish left on the counter to long.
