Pros & Cons
Absolutely loved it. Don’t let the small covered pots throw you off by the register. The food is amazing and their sushi is really good. I also ordered 2 of their smoothies. I was treated very nicely and the staff was super friendly. The place is kept clean with good music. The decor is nice as well. Im definitely coming back. Check my pictures out!

It’s another new Korean street food spot. Like other new Korean street food they have sample your own Poké bowls. Very vegetarian friendly when it comes to Poké bowl.
We ordered:
Korean wings: it’s sweet, and savory come with a side with gouchujang sauce (sweet and spicy paste)
And SEAFOOD RAMEN very seafood-Dy flavor. It have plenty of clams, baby octopus and mussels make you keep dive your spoon in the soup and fishing for.
We didn’t noted that it was a little long for the soup to come out. But We wasn’t mind at all because we know they make a soup from scratch. The owner was so nice and comp us for a kimchee pancake. That’s plus for their service.
The most impress for this place is they have self serve water machine that have option from cold to room temperature and even sparkling water on tap.

Surprised to see a restaurant of this caliber in Davie! This should be in Wynwood or something like it. But nontheless, had a great experience and glad its here. Will stop by again soon. Thank you for opening Gakaii!

Food was good, simple menu, not too overwhelming. Good sized portions, price also good. Definitely Asian fusion, as it wasn’t a traditionally prepared bowl of bibimbap we got. Carrots and spinach weren’t cooked and it had corn, which threw me off plus food wasn’t piping hot. Not bad, just different from what I’m used to. Inside was geared towards college crowd, music wasn’t really family-friendly.

I like the vegan & gluten free options.
Most ingredients are fresh and great flavors.
The only reason they got 4 and not 5 stars is the loud american pop music. I felt like I’m in a club! Yiyks! My ears hurt.
2nd thing is the extra charge of $3 for HOT bowl. Why? I think hot bowl is signature of Korean cuisine

Bibimbaps were ok. Very pricey for the type of food that’s being offered. Deukbokki was good but again, very pricey. Would only come back just to spend the groupon voucher that I bought but otherwise wouldn’t come back if I had to pay full price
