Absolutely hands down the best meal I have had in a very very long time at a restaurant. The place is beautiful and clean and would be a great party venue, the outdoor patio area is peaceful and tranquil to enjoy the gorgeous meals surrounded by beautiful flowers. The fish is cooked perfectly and the pasta dishes were like nothing I’ve tried before in my life and not pictured is a salad with cucumbers tomatoes and Bulgarian feta which I will be dreaming about for a long time to come. Owner is great and welcoming and if your looking for a 5 star dish you won’t be disappointed.

First time dining here with friends Friday 9/16. The restaurant has a great vibe from the beautifully lit bar to the dinner music in the background. Our server Anastasia was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Chef Michael graciously introduced himself at our table and offered delicious suggestions. One entree not to miss is the signature veal chop which was prepared to perfection and had a great presentation. My husband devoured it! Another delicious entree was the lobster tagliatelle—HUGE chunks of lobster meat in a light sauce. Other delicious entrees included a bolognese pasta dish as well as fresh halibut. Now is a great time for locals to go and enjoy an amazing dining experience! Thank you for a lovely evening!

Our large family of 8 chose this restaurant because we had read some of the great reviews. We ordered all of the Chef Specialties including the daily special of Black Sea Bass. We also ordered several of the appetizers.
We were not disappointed. The fish was prepared perfectly, the lobster and crab pasta dish may have been the best I have ever had- we were fighting over swiping the leftover cream sauce out of the bowl! Now let’s talk about the veal chop and cowboy steak- mouth watering, flavor popping, unbelievable flavor. Prepared better than some 4 star steak places I have been to in Dallas Texas, and that’s saying something.
It was cold and later in the day when we were there, but the outside patio is adorable and is the perfect place to sit for an afternoon lunch or early dinner on a mild evening.
If you want a great meal- try out Gaia Bistro. They even have a pizza and calzone place next door. Can’t say enough about this place!!

This place is absolutely incredible. The food, the ambiance and the service are some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Chef Mike made us feel like family and was so incredibly passionate about his cooking and gracious in the way he welcomed us. He sat and chatted with us (was a quieter night) and told stories, explained some of his cooking methods and shared some of the passion behind his cooking. He is an incredible man with and incredible vision and restaurant. Grateful he decided to open down the street. You HAVE to try it. The cowboy steak was one of the best I’ve ever tasted – and my double cut pork chop was outstanding. He even walked us over to the liquor store to get wine since we didn’t realize it was byob. We are so glad we found this place as it is our now Go2 restaurant. Such a warm an inviting place with a great ambiance, the food, staff and service are impeccable. Owner/chef Michael makes sure he visits every table to say hello and see how the food was. Our starters were stuffed figs, meatballs and shopska salad along with fresh baked bread and oil and all were delicious. I Had one the best veal chops I ever had and my wife had a filet mignon where she barely needed a knife. It’s upscale dining without the stuffy feeling. There is a reason why ALL the reviews are 5 stars!

First off I never write a review. After visiting this evening and having the pleasure to meet Chef Mike I felt a personal sense of duty to share a few words. My family’s typical Wednesday night dinner trying to a new spot was turned into a great experience we will all remember.
The ambiance, food quality, and service here is forged into an overall great experience that should be shared with others. I am southerner and married into a Italian family and to see the joy on their faces from the food quality and Italian banter shared with the Chef was authentic and memorable. I sincerely hope this young restaurant sky rockets and finds themselves compelled to open a location in Virginia *cough*.

Shared a great meal at Gaia.. as we entered we were greeted by
Mike , the owner and Chef. He immediately made us feel at home. he was very engaging in conversation. His cooking was superb. He put his heart and soul into everything we ordered. The menu is quite diverse, with some great specials. The pasta is homemade ,With all the entrees , the ingredients and preparation are impeccable. We all had a hard time choosing and Chef Mike took the time to explain many of the choices. The pasta special simply melted in your mouth.. The appetizers were delicious. we shared “Rocco’s meatball” with a great savory sauce ,a family recipe. This establishment is a hidden gem at the shore and the owner goes out of his way to make you feel like family!

If you want a true Italian dining experience then this is THE PLACE!! The food, ambiance and service were impeccable (at the very least). It reminded me of my grandfather’s cooking, there was not a bad thing that we tried. Mike really went out of his way to make our dining experience so special! He loves what he does and it absolutely shows!! We most definitely will be back!!
