I recently ordered catering from Gagan Palace for my event, and the food was outstanding. Every item—from the appetizers to the main course to the desserts—was delicious and plentiful. The Morog Polao, Fish Kalia, and Mutton Rezala were crowd favorites; everyone kept talking about how tasty and perfectly cooked everything was.
The portions were generous, the flavors were authentic, and the entire meal truly elevated the event. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be ordering from Gagan Palace again. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience at The Gagan Palace in Stratford! The food tastes just like home — real Bangladeshi flavor with a warm, family-style vibe. The staff were kind, and the service was great. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic deshi food in South Jersey!

Completely misleading experience. Despite being advertised as an Indian restaurant, it’s actually run by a Bangladeshi management attempting an Indian menu — and unfortunately, it falls flat. Misled by the positive reviews, I ended up having one of the worst buffet experiences ever. Most of the good items were unavailable, and even after multiple follow-ups, refills took nearly 20 minutes. To make matters worse, the owners were quite rude and dismissive. This place is a perfect example of how a restaurant should not operate. Definitely not recommended.

The most tasty, amazing food! The portions are very fair for the price and the food has so much flavor. I will definitely be ordering from here again. I HIGHLY recommend the Lamb Vindaloo and the veggie samosa chaat. To top it off the owner is incredibly kind, I received the wrong order and the owner dropped off the correct one to my home address within 10minutes. Thank you all for amazing service 🙂

Don’t know where the hype is coming from. According to South Jersey Food Scene Facebook group this restaurant was highly recommended. The place seemed like it was serving the same dishes since when the buffet started. Cold, watery, oily, and tasteless food. The chicken was hard, palaak was watery, and rice was crunchy. I have to give them some credit for at least having Goat Curry on their menu. It seemed like they weren’t going to refill any of the food options in the buffet, as many of the items were near empty. Also, it is dead silent in there. They don’t have any ambience. However, the two boys running the place at the front did a good job being attentive to all guests. For almost $20 per person, I expected more options and better curated foods.

The food here was absolutely incredible!!! The goat from the goat curry was so freaking tender and the sauce for each dish was soooo good especially when you dipped the naan in it. The workers took incredible care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. A beautiful valentines date with my babe, can’t wait to come back!!!

Gagan Palace is truly a one stop shop for South Asian Cuisines. Not only do they specialize in North and South Indian dishes, but they offer Pakistani and Bangladeshi dishes as well. The best part: everything is halal!
Buffet prices are hard to beat with the variety of dishes offered. They make FRESH naan in house. My favorite items are the dosa and their newest addition, the chicken wings!
Give this restaurant a try. You won’t be disappointed. The owners are sweet and caring also.

Excellent punjabi food. Service was great. As vegetarians, we thoroughly enjoyed amritaseri kadi, palak paneer, navratan korma and the fresh Naan.
When I made a casual comment about vegetarian Biriyani in the lunch buffet, the chef went inside and made it special for us. That was so nice of him.

Great food and excellent service. Compared to similar Indian food establishments in the area, Gagan Palace tastes deliciously authentic. The lunchtime buffet has a lovely variety of items to choose from and is a great value. Highly recommend.
