I’m sorry but this place was amazing back in the hay day ( 80’s and 90’s) it’s absolutely terrible now. Very sad. Definitely not fresh. Fish fry was mushy and my seafood broil was tasteless and honestly just nasty and to top it off I got my food last at the table and it was cold. Even the coleslaw tasted weird. Tasted like onions. Friend ordered pasta. Sauce was ok but meatball was mushy and funny tasting. Server was very nice. We didn’t complain because the food took forever as it was and definitely not the servers fault. We definitely won’t be back.

Visiting from Maryland and had high hopes for authentic Polish food. The cabbage rolls and sausage were very good. The sauerkraut was ok and the pierogis a bit of a disappointment. They were clearly homemade but the dough was thick for my taste and not flavorful. the fries were cold. I should’ve ordered the parsley potatoes. There were plenty of locals so maybe it was just not our cup of tea but could be yours.

If you’re looking for good, cheap, delicious food then look no further than Gadawski’s. The restaurant has been in the family for 102 years and the love and care they put into the business really shows. Can’t reccomend it enough!!!

Excellent Polish food. The food was authentic and tasted amazing. The service was amazing! The atmosphere is very down home and local. It was loud due to many locals at the bar, which is great, but at times tough to hear each other.

Love this place, loved the third and fourth generation family members that are keeping this institution going (for over 99 years), loved the food, and I love the atmosphere.
If your looking for great food that is fresh, look no further. I loved every bite of my pierogis (tried all four types) and the cabbage roll (soft and tender). The pierogis will ruin you for other pierogis, and that’s okay, get ruined. I washed my dinner with a bottle of Tyskie pivo (one of the tasty Polish beers that is carried at this establishment).
I cannot wait to come back to dine at this place in the future, thank you for keeping this place going and producing such quality food.
Make sure you have cash or your ATM card (an ATM on site) as credit cards are not accepted.

Less than stellar. The food tasted good, but underwhelming. Fish fry (both fried and broiled) were small pieces, not one whole big piece (similar to “ends” or “trimmed leftover” pieces. French fries were the same (all less than 2”). I choice the veggie if the day vs fries, small bowl of green beans fresh out of the can.
I won’t go again, which is disappointing bc this was a great place.

The Wednesday special was Mac n Cheese with polish sausage. I should’ve waited until Thursday for the cabbage rolls. Menu is limited as to what “Polish” is available on specific days. I believe they offered 4 pierogi fillings, we sampled all.
Service was friendly with a smile.
