My first time here.. the service was fast and excellent. Very welcoming staff. I order the cheesy fries that came topped with pork and a pound of the Brisket to go. I got home opened it up and my God it looked and smelled delicious. The tasty smell permeated the house with its deliciousness. Luckily it was enough to feed almost 3 people because everyone wanted to try some. My favorite was the Brisket so far… I’ll definitely be going back.

After seeing many reviews about poor service, I have to say from my own experience that service doesn’t seem to be their focus here – the food is. Chicken was good but somewhat dry, ribs were excellent and paired well with the Kansas City BBQ sauce which is outstanding. Mac n cheese was very cheesy and prepared well. Slaw was decent and wasn’t disappointing. It appears that many locals order food to go, which makes sense because there’s really only two tables inside the small building.

Ribs were amazing, so tender fell off the bone in one bite. Mac and cheese was so delicious. My favorite BBQ place in the Seattle area so far! Very friendly and respectful service. Would recommend to anyone craving BBQ!

I smoke my own brisket a few times a year, and I’m picky. At the last minute I was asked to bring my smoked brisket to a family gathering and I didn’t have time to pull it off. I went to a different BBQ place to try out their brisket and it was very disappointing. I then dropped by Gabriel’s and took a pound of brisket home to share with my wife and son. Everyone agreed that Gabriel’s brisket was perfectly smoked, great smoke ring, tender, but not falling apart. And the price per pound was better than the other place charged. I’m going back for more.

Takeout only, but service totally lacking. I wouldn’t have minded it if the food was at least good but the one thing i got: the fry special, was anything but. The fries tasted old and soggy, the pulled bbq in pork completely lacking in grilled or smoked flavor. All I tasted was the BBQ sauce.

I have passed this bbq place hundreds of times and finally stopped! The food was definitely worth it, and I will try it again. The brisket sandwich was fabulous and the gumbo quite yummy. The place isn’t really dine in friendly but they do have a couple of tables.

This guy loves his meat! Currently just offering take out, I got the brisket, which was amazing without any sauce. The coleslaw is also fantastic! Mac and cheese was ok. If you’re looking for BBQ you need to check this place out. Small parking lot is plenty for take out crowd.

This is my favorite bbq place in the greater Seattle metro area and probably the ONLY one I’d actually recommend to strangers and friends. You will not be disappointed. Especially if you order anything that includes the pork ribs or brisket. Don’t even get me started on the special smoked turkeys you can preorder buy if you order early enough for Thanksgiving. Last year’s made me want to cry. People who have hated Turkey for as long as I’ve known them were writing home to Mama about that smoked bird.

We came to this restaurant at 7:30. 30 minutes before close, and the employee working seemed extremely annoyed we were there, I asked questions about the food and menu, he was just short with me and his answers. We planned on just getting everything to go since it was late and I ordered and said everything to go and he replied “uh yeah, I’m not gonna seat you anyway we are closing soon” just an unnecessary and rude comment. The food was just ok. The pork was moist and tasty, the sauce we got wasn’t very good. the fries and bread pudding were both over done/burnt. Mac and cheese was decent. Between the customer service and food I would never return to this establishment and would never recommend it to anyone.
