I ordered food over the phone based on their online menu and pricing. When I arrived there the price went up $3 from what’s shown on the website and wasn’t told that I had to pay $6 to have hash browns with my order. So instead of paying $12.99 plus tax I ended up paying about $23. When I spoke to the owner or someone that goes by the name “Gabe” he said the the menu in store has been updated for a YEAR and that he knows nothing about the website in a very dismissive tone. And when I showed it to him he actually ignored it. Then they plated my bacon and over medium eggs on top of my pancakes to add insult to injury. I think if you’re going to take an order over the phone you should let people know when they are going to pay for something additional such as hash browns. And if I show up at your business thinking I’m going to pay one price based on your websites information and your prices have been different for an entire year, you should honor the prices listed online until you update them. I’ve included a screenshot as well. Today is 10/20/2025.

We moved here about five years ago from Fort Lauderdale, and Gabrielle’s Café has truly become a staple in our household! The food is solid, consistently delicious, and very reasonably priced. Their breakfast is especially great — always fresh and satisfying.

The servers are wonderful and make you feel right at home every time you walk in. One of the things we love most is how family-friendly they are — they even bring out a toy bin to keep the kiddos entertained, which makes such a difference when dining with little ones.

We’re so grateful to have this gem in our community. Highly recommend!

If you’re in Wellington and haven’t been to Gabriel’s Cafe, you’re seriously missing out. We’ve been going there for years, and it’s one of those rare spots that truly feels like home every single time you walk in.
From the moment you’re greeted, everyone is so genuinely sweet and welcoming. It’s super kid-friendly (which is a huge win), and the staff always go out of their way to make families feel comfortable. No stress, no rush just warm, hometown vibes. And the food? Incredible. Everything is consistently fresh, delicious, and made with care. Whether you’re craving a classic breakfast or something a little more indulgent, it never disappoints. On top of that, the prices are so affordable especially for the quality and portions you get.
It’s our forever breakfast spot. Highly, highly recommend.

Our forever favorite cafe. We always have the best meals and experience at Gabriels! My whole family loves to go here and our neighbors love it too. It’s the local spot to go to! The food is amazing and the service / staff are just so great! We love it here! Wanted to shout them out because they were extra amazing today! Thank you always!

Walking in you feel like this is a place that the eldest generation goes for breakfast. They seat oldest in the back section and younger than 50 in the front(just from what I observed). The service was odd, an old man(I assume was the owner) stood at the front where all of his family photos and collectibles are displayed and ate his breakfast. The waitress with zero enthusiasm took my order and went away. As I waited for my food the owner and who I can only assume was his wife got into an argument which was not audibly loud but in a small place you see and hear everything. Food cam out, I had ordered the eggs Benedict with “smoked salmon” and a side of avocado. The salmon was on its last day and the english muffin was definitely past its time and the “hollandaise” was watered down. All which could have been such a different experience with higher quality ingredients. Overall, It wasnt the worst but definitely not the best. Doesn’t really feel like it fits the area but could definitely improve if they hired a good chef.

Gabriel’s is everything a classic café should be. The food is always fresh, hot, and consistently good. The service is what really makes it stand out — they’re constantly refilling your coffee without you even having to ask.

It honestly reminds me of the great cafés up north, welcoming, no-nonsense, and comfortable.

If you’re looking for that true café experience with great food and even better service, this is the spot. – Tom & Vania

I feel compelled to share our recent experiences with Gabriel’s Restaurant, and unfortunately, they’ve been extremely disappointing. While we once enjoyed dining here, we’ve repeatedly witnessed the owner, Gabriel, treating his staff and customers in ways that are just not acceptable.

On several occasions, we’ve seen him be outright rude to his employees including elderly staff members and even hang up on us in the past when we called to make a reservation because they were “too busy.” It’s one thing to be busy; it’s another to be dismissive and disrespectful.

In one instance, we even saw him raising his voice at an elderly employee in a way that was deeply uncomfortable. Sadly, this isn’t a one-time issue. It’s a pattern. And it’s clear to us that supporting a business where the owner belittles and disrespects both his staff and patrons is not something we’re willing to do anymore. We won’t be returning.

In 2026, it’s disheartening to see that there are still businesses in the restaurant industry where this kind of behavior is tolerated. The owner should be held accountable. Until then, I’d strongly recommend spending your hard-earned money elsewhere

This place is fantastic. Stopped in because I needed a place close to the mall so we could have breakfast before our Santa appointment . Not to busy easy to find parking and the seating was quick. Food came out hot all together in minutes and was very good. They even had baskets of toys for the kids vs crayons. As a parent I greatly appreciate this option. Overall great experience

The food was amazing! We had a breakfast date. I stepped out of my comfort zone ordering Eggs Benedict and it was near perfection! It wasn’t crowded cuz we showed up after the morning rush & before the lunch goers! Atmosphere is old school small town. With WEY FM playing quietly. Gabriel is good at running things; however his waitress was not on point. Was slow to take our order, never refilled our water, & Gabriel had to remind her to bring our check. Besides the minor hiccup Gabriel’s is a definite must for breakfast and I’ll have to try their lunch next time, which I hear is just as good as breakfast!
