I tremendously enjoyed the 4-course menu at Gabriel Kreuther, and couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion. Other than the sheer excellence of the food – the team went above and beyond to make this a special night for us. I would go as far as saying this was the best meal I’ve had in the city.

I’ve been to a quantity of Michelin star restaurants across the world, and I can say this truly earned its stars. I’m a tough critic and I can’t say the same for a lot of the other NYC Michelin restaurants – which have generally been a disappointment in comparison to those in Europe.

The incredible staff deserve a third star for the incredible evening they curated seamlessly for my wife & I. As hospitality professionals ourselves, we always love to see team operate on a different level & this group is a well run machine with invisible systems, unreasonable hospitality & the perfect level of comfortable mixed with professional.

I’ve had, in my lifetime, maybe 4 “memorable meals” & this is one more. It’s a shame we live 2 hours away up north, however we will be using our experience as a benchmark of excellence to strive for when we train our own team back home at Lone Wolf in Kingston, NY.

Hats off to the entire FOH & BOH teams. I hope management read this aloud & shares with you why your role matters.

Outstanding evening at Gabriel Kreuther.
Last night, my wife and I dined at Gabriel Kreuther, and it’s one of those rare restaurants where—while you’re still seated, mid-course—you find yourself planning your return. (We actually said, “We have to bring the kids here.”)
We chose the tasting menu, and from the very first course, it was clear how much thought and intention went into each dish. Every plate was a success—beautifully composed, flavorful, and creative. Each course flowed naturally into the next, making the tasting feel cohesive rather than just a collection of highlights.
The beverage pairings were equally well executed. Each drink was thoughtfully selected to elevate the dish it accompanied, adding nuance and balance without stealing the spotlight. Together, the food and pairings felt precise, measured, and complete.
Service is where the evening truly stood out. At this level, hospitality must be a seamless team effort, guided by calm leadership and real awareness of the room. Angie, our captain for the evening, embodied that role perfectly—warm, attentive, and always a step ahead. Zanetta, one of the managers, worked tirelessly throughout the night to ensure every detail was handled with care. Mission accomplished.
The dining room itself deserves praise. The interior design, lighting, and seating are all beautifully considered, and the view into the open kitchen adds an extra layer of energy to the experience. The large, inviting bar is a destination on its own—we arrived early and enjoyed a drink there before being seated, and it set the tone for the evening perfectly.
An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Have eaten in the lounge before and decided to try the dining room, where I had a wonderful 4 course meal. Especially loved the festive holiday decorations and music playing. Food was great, especially their new Black Forest indulgence dessert (solid recommend for dark chocolate lovers).
Two visits and the service has been excellent, from the hosts who check you in to the servers in both the lounge and dining room; everyone is attentive and professional while also being friendly and welcoming.

Really nice beautiful interior. Friendly staff. Did the full tasting menu for Christmas eve and it was festively decorated too. Overall a solid meal with good portion sizes. The hazelnut glaze with grape(?) was a great sauce that stood out.

Delicious Christmas lunch with a close friend. Had the chef’s tasting menu along with a couple cocktails and wine. Top tier dining all around as you would expect. The duck breast was one of the best I’ve ever had and the caviar tart was a favorite.

From the moment you walk into the organic, zen space, you are welcomed with the most gracious and attentive staff. The food largely holds up to the standards established 10 years ago. The four course option is very good, but the real treat is the chef’s tasting menu. A definite must try if you are looking for an exceptional dining experience in NYC.

Everything about Gabriel Kreuther restaurant was incredible! They made our experience on a friends’ trip truly special. We tried the four-course menu and it was simply delicious! You won’t be disappointed. We live in Miami and will return to New York to take our husbands. I don’t remember the names of the dishes, but here are some pictures. Simply phenomenal. Thank you

Dining at Gabriel Kreuther was a truly exceptional experienceNestled just across from Bryant Park, the restaurant offers a serene and elegant setting that perfectly complements its Michelin-star distinction.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and professional, striking the perfect balance between attentive and friendly service. It was an ideal atmosphere for a leisurely lunch and meaningful conversation with friends.

Each course was executed with finesse—thoughtfully composed, exquisitely presented, and utterly delicious. Every recommendation from the staff was spot-on, and the flavors were nothing short of sublime. It’s evident that every detail, from the ingredients to the pacing of the meal, is handled with the utmost care.

We left feeling inspired and already looking forward to our next visit. Gabriel Kreuther is a culinary gem—an experience you will savor long after the last bite.
