With a name like Gables Coffee House, I was expecting indoor seating and a cooler vibe. There’s only outside seating and no public restroom. It’s definitely more of a small take out place. The food looks like it would be good, but I only ordered a baguette and a pastry. I was surprised there was no decaf on the menu. Service was friendly and very helpful.

Excellent experience. The healthy juices are delicious and taste fresh and natural. The breakfasts are also very good, well prepared, and full of flavor. I would definitely come back. Highly recommended.

This establishment has been in the same location for over 25 years, and the menu has changed considerably and is still excellent! The croquettes are handmade and very exquisite and generously sized! The salads are delicious and well-balanced! I hope to continue visiting this warm and friendly place for many more years!

I ordered a tropical juice. It was to have pineapple, cucumber, carrot celery. I watched them juice it and there were 3-4 mini pieces of pineapple in a ziploc bag. Couldn’t tell if they were fresh or canned. Anyways, juice tasted just like you’d expect a carrot cucumber juice to taste like. The ‘tropical’ part never made it through.
Furthermore, my partner ordered an Americano which is traditionally espresso shots + hot water. Whatever they prepared was in a coffee pot…. Interesting.
He said it was caffeine so it’s fine but I would be disappointed if that’s what I received after asking for an americano.
The workers were super nice and kind, it’s just sad that this is how they were probably training l by upper management

Is this place new? Seems like the staff was overwhelmed. Service was meh. Whenever people walked in, no one is greeted. Wanted to order a breakfast meal which came with eggs, a side and a cafe con leche but I couldn’t order it because I asked for almond milk in my coffee instead of regular milk. So I ended up having to order the coffee and scrambled eggs (plain eggs with no sides) separately which came out to $7.50 for both . the cappucino tasted wierd, it tasted sour not bitter sour as if the almond milk was old. They do not have brown sugar readily available for customers, I asked for brown sugar and was given the bag of sugar with a plastic spoon so I can serve myself. The eggs were freshly made but were bland in flavor, how about adding a little butter to the eggs? BTW there’s a photo in the reviews of a family sitting at a booth which I thought was at this place but there is no booth or inside seating, only outside seating. Not sure where that photo came from but it’s not of gables cafe. With a name like that, the standards of food and service need to be higher. Wanted to like this place but im underwhelmed. Hoping they get their act together and maybe I’ll return. Good luck.

Unfortunately although this place has a nice menu, it is not a coffee house. It’s more of a grab and go. They do not have a bathroom available to patrons, limited seating, and no Wi-Fi. Good for a quick to go but not what you typically think of when you think of a coffee house.
