We had Gable House provide service at our wedding. They perfectly executed an afternoon tea for 100 plus our wedding cake! The lemon raspberry was outstanding and all the pastries were great! Her service was impeccable with delivery, set up, and tear down on site.

We used Gable House for our wedding and it was such a great experience. What drew me to this bakery was being able to do a really fun dessert bar with handheld items at a reasonable cost. The addition of the small cake included in this package created the perfect set up and allowed us to still have a cake cutting experience without having to order a massive cake.
Jenna was so helpful and sweet while we made all of our dessert decisions. The tasting was a lot of fun to experience and they were very accommodating when it came to various options and the overall display. The best part of our wedding desserts was being able to incorporate our dog into the small cake. It was such a fun touch and he was definitely the star of the dessert table. He unfortunately was not able to be at the wedding so being able to see him on the cake brought a huge smile to our faces.
The final sweet touch from Gable House was discovering that they put together a little Bride and Groom sample box of all of the desserts we chose and left it for us in our suite. It was a really nice surprise and made us happy since we were not able to try everything during the reception.

Not only are their baked goods the best around (truly nothing I’ve ever tried there has disappointed), but the heart behind this place is just as special. Nikki, the owner, is one of the kindest, most passionate, and community-driven people I’ve ever met. Her love for this town and commitment to supporting other small businesses is unwavering, and it shows in everything she does. Gable House isn’t just a bakery, it’s an essential part of the Mifflinburg experience.
As for the food? It’s on another level. The tiramisu is my all time favorite dessert and is hands down the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. The sticky buns, dare I say, are better than any others (yes, even the big-name ones you’re probably thinking of). The cream puffs are deceptively simple, but the filling is so good I’d honestly eat a whole gallon of it with a spoon. And the macarons are always rotating in fun flavors and are such a fun treat every time. Honestly, I’ve never had something there that I didn’t love.
We recently hosted our son’s first birthday at Helix Hall (Nikki is also co-owner of this beautiful venue), and Gable House created a fully dairy-free smash cake and then a dessert bar for us that was beyond perfect. Everything was stunning and delicious and most importantly, our little guy was able to enjoy every bite.
I’m also loving their new porch set-up! The extended hours and ease of ordering have made it even more accessible, and I think they’ve handled the transition so thoughtfully. Nikki is always dreaming up big, positive ideas not just for her business, but for the entire community, and I admire that so much.

I stopped in as a way to bribe myself to do schoolwork… I was impressed with their full case and wide range of options! I couldn’t resist the monstrous sticky bun, which was very plush, with plenty of caramel and a generous helping of pecans. The pricing was quite fair for the price of ingredients right now. There is a good amount of seating, so I was able to do some school while enjoying the slow atmosphere and baker aromas. I’d thoroughly recommend a stop!

So we stopped into the self serve after hours . There was a variety of goodies available. We got Pecan sticky buns . They were delicious. What I appreciated is they are able to do this after hours self serve and we were able to support them when we can’t get there on regular business hours .

My Husband and I got married at the end of July and had the Gable house team do our wedding cake and desserts and they did a fabulous job!! They were so great to work with. I told them how I had a vintage Disney topper and I want our cake to be mickey but with a vintage pearl look and they nailed it!! Everything was absolutely delicious and could not recommend them more to anyone that is having a special event!

We just used Gable House Bakery for our wedding cake and desserts and OH MY was EVERYTHING amazing! We went with a cutting cake, three different kinds of cookes, three different kinds of donuts and cannoli. The cannoli were a huge hit and the donuts melted in your mouth. Ordinarily, wedding cakes are much better in appearance than they are in taste; not so with ours! So, so yummy! We were not going to freeze the top but we decided it was so good that we had to do it. 10/10 recommend for any kind of celebratory activitites. Your guests will thank you for it.

Gable House is the best kept secret in this small town that should not be a secret because they are sooo good. I reached out to them from NC to make the cake and cupcakes for my Grandmothers 90th birthday party in May and the attention to detail on the cake is beyond words. Not to mention how delicious both the cake and cupcakes were to eat. Everyone kept asking who made the cake/cupcakes. Every time I make it back to PA for a visit I try to stop by the bakery because nothing else compares. Thank you all so much for your kindness, hard work and attention to detail. You are all amazing!

We used Gable House Bakery for our wedding in August. We ended up going with a Dessert Bar and a small cutting cake for our wedding. The desserts were delicious as was our cake. It is a great perk that Gable House comes and sets up the desserts which helps make your wedding day more effortless! The dessert table was stunning and our guests loved the variety! We hosted a wedding at the Cypress House and had our desserts catered by Gable House Bakery. Let me start by saying I have never seen a dessert table emptied a wedding, ever. So you can imagine my shock at the end of the night when I go to grab some cookies and they are all gone!! We got a massive dessert selection and a cake and they were such a hit, so much so that none of them made it home with us at the end of the night. Not only did everything taste delicious, but it looked stunning and was delivered and set up beautifully at our venue. Gable House Bakery was so easy and pleasant to work with and has so many amazing options for a wedding. We were so pleased with our experience from start to finish and cannot wait to get a cake for our one year anniversary. We will absolutely be coming back for some goodies whenever we find ourselves in the area again!
