Set in a very busy parking lot off a circle, Gabby’s seems active. I’ve seen extra thick pizza there I wanted to try, but when I went again that type wasn’t ready yet . The place is small and could use a revamp. The pizza I got was Chicken parm, next Cheesesteak. Decent sized slices with ample toppings prices average for the area .I did ask for crispy which they did and I enjoyed it. The sauce was okay though I like it a bit sweeter. They wouldn’t give me a glass of water rather wanted me to buy a bottle.
Bottom line pizza is very good and filling for the price but more a take out place !
I revisited Gabby’s and they had plenty of deep dish like thick slices this time so I took pics of some offerings n prices were fair .. I did finally have my thick slice. I like their crust too.. the buffalo chicken slice was well topped with chicken and sauce.. the sauce is quite tangy but good. If you like spicy try it! If you like less spicy try the Chicken Vodka my new fav there! The help was friendly and they put lots of toppings on your slice, the slice size was ample too..so you won’t be hungry or disappointed with any Pizza there! Now I go often for my favs.. need to try their Sicilian slice next! Lots of choices there ..Try some! Ask for Edwin !
They were all great! Very good pepperoni on a solid pie. Depending on your preference, I may ask them to cook the pizza a little longer next time. The calamari was very good quality which was surprising for a pizzeria – and so was the sauce.
Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices quite reasonable. Easy parking.
Let me start off by saying that my niece had a birthday party that was catered from here this past Saturday. Gabby’s had to problem taking over $200 for below average food, but could not be bothered to answer questions about food allergies so some children at the party could eat.
When I first called, I was very clear in telling them that we had just received our delivery but needed to double check on ingredients since some of the children had allergies to milk and egg. Right away I was met with a condescending response of “well, it has breading doesn’t it? All breading has milk and egg”. To which I asked if they breaded the chicken in house because the majority of frozen chicken fingers do not contain milk or egg. They do not make them in house. So, I then told them I have worked in restaurants for years and have a child with allergies, most frozen chicken fingers are safe but we need to know for sure. I asked them once again to check on the ingredients to which I was told “listen, I’m busy right now. You’re going to have to call back later.”
Call back later? I bet Gabby’s wouldn’t have been too busy if I was placing a $200+ order, but since it was already paid for they could not care less. Your entire business is food. Milk and egg are incredibly common allergies. Know your product or take 2 minutes to read a box. Pathetic. Do better.
