Gabby’s is the best Mexican restaurant in the entire tri-state area in my opinion. I’ve eaten almost every single Mexican restaurant around and this is my spot for sure. Fast friendly service from people who truly try to make your experience special.

Food: Delicious enchilada platter, but I found the carnitas (pork) to be rather tough and closer to pot roast than Mexican food.
Service: Simply impeccable. The gentleman who served me was kind, polite, professional, and clean. I couldn’t ask for a better experience in this regard.
Atmosphere: Akin to a Mexican restaurant in a log cabin, the ambiance is a bit conflicted but far from inappropriate or uninspired. They very clearly are taking care not only of the cleanliness but also of trying to establish an identity within the available space.

Food is always amazing
Let’s talk about service… Latino service is top tier! Otherwise you’ll get your order taken and you won’t see them again until it’s time to pay and tip. But with food that good I’ll get over it.

️I’ve known Gabby now for about 10 years…I met this young lady thru Lupe the owner of West Tenampas and it is great that she is following in her Father’s footsteps…it’s not surprising that the food here is delicious and the service is wonderful the atmosphere and the decor is colorful and beautiful.. just like her father’s restaurant … you really feel south-of-the-border here…The food is so delicious anything you get from here it’s just going to make your taste buds jump for joy… You can eat indoors or there’s a patio outdoors on those beautiful days that you want to enjoy your meal outside…It is also well lit at night…There are a variety of cervezas as well as those imports…I always go for a bottle or two of Negra Modelo with my Chori Pollo which is one of my favorite dishes to order… And for dessert you must try the flan The food is always fresh and warm…The staff is courteous and cater to your needs… You always get unlimited chips and salsa with your meal and they have the best salsa I have ever tasted… Not running or watery… But chunkier style salsa.. Made fresh right there in the in the restaurant. But make sure with your chips you also get some con queso with chorizo that is so delicious or even a side of their fresh guacamole which is made there as well. You can’t go wrong if you’re ever in the Huntington area take you a little drive out to Lavalette and visit Gabby’s you won’t be disappointed at all. Great job Gabby…cheers Amiga

Hands down the Mexican inspired cuisine in the USA. Mexican has been my favorite for more than 30 years and I have never had anything close to what is served at any establishment owned by Gabby. There’s no comparison between Gabby’s and any other. For the record I do not know Gabby personally but I do know that she owns West Tenampa and Gabby’s 152 Tortilla Street and I go out of the way by an hour or more to eat at Gabby’s 152.. Absolutely the best Mexican I’ve ever had

$7 to add grilled chicken to a single chimichanga. No thanks. Also charged for a large nacho fajita and it was tiny. Never again. This is the reason a businesses don’t last at this location. $40 for a meal I could get in Ironton for $16 take out. Crazy. Avoid it. Drive to town.

Fun fact, when you ask for the largest lime margarita, you may want to confirm how large the largest is. Instead of a fishbowl, I got an
Aquarium margarita. My wife said her Carnitas were great. I don’t remember much after that.

Nice people. Good service. Food is unremarkable, but worth going if you need a change from everything else. I’d compare it to a Mexican Applebee’s.

I have been here many times. This is usually a good place to eat. The lady that waited on use was very rude to us and was throwing things around and slamming things. Are food was cold when we got it. I was very disappointed because usually everything ( food, service, atmosphere ) is really good here. It just wasn’t this time.
