Workouts Dont Wait
Wrong prices displayed and I wasn’t granted the price that was presented. If the prices have changed then the necessary adjustments should be made before you give me the up prices of a steak taco for $3.11 I haven’t even tasted my food yet but this here has irritated me. My first time coming and it may be my last.

I like supporting smalls business but when you rob me then I have a problem with that! Tell me how a $3 horchata and $9 fresa con crema add up to $15? Not including the tax. They over charged me. The horchata was watery on top of that. Customer service was poor. Definitely will not be back not an honest business at all!

People are mean or most of the 1-star reviews are from fake accounts maybe.
I can’t speak Spanish buy the people behind the counter were overly helpful and friendly with us.
The tacos had very good flavor. Not the best I have ever had but still very tasty. The pork was a little dry but at least there was not any fat or gristle and wasn’t chewy which I don’t like and can’t eat meat like that so it was a very good overall experience.

I try to blame the language barrier but after reading other reviews idk. I have gone here twice and my torta is never made correctly it’s like they don’t add the avocado or mayo like it’s just a poor sandwich and dry … but I know they have good food… I can only think it’s because of Me. I am African American. I ate inside the last time and the other diners stared at me the whole time I was in there. I don’t understand why, I wash my clothes in the laundromat, just down the sidewalk for months now… they are one of the restaurants nearby ….but the bodegas sell the same thing and I HAVE NO PROBLEMS in there. I will just go back there and give them a good review so they can get the black business in the area, because in Gabby’s we are not really welcome with open arms by all. They don’t want black dollars they want pesos only. I don’t give excuses for why service is bad, food is made wrong and the Atmosphere is strange. I didn’t see a single table get wiped off so there is that as well. Gabby’s is no longer on my list and I think that is just what they wanted.

The tacos were okay, but that shrimp ceviche is everything! Definitely a new favorite.
Update 11/08/21: The food is still good, but their attitude to non-Hispanics is horrible. I didn’t have an issue during my first visit. But this time I was not greeted and the lady rolled her eyes and walked away. If you don’t like anything but Hispanic people then maybe you’re in the wrong place.
I may give them another try since the food is decent.
Update 11/10/2021: The owner was there today and he was super nice and helpful. I think there is a language barrier issue, which could be perceived as an attitude. But I completely understand and I’ll continue to come get my fruit & ceviche. I may learn a little Spanish just so I can order my food lol — the ceviche is addictive!
Update 12/29/2021: They stopped serving Ceviche for a minute but now it’s back & it’s not as good as it was. Now it has fish in it. The flavor isn’t what it used to be either. So my 5 stars is now 2.

Best places I been here in ATL brings me back to my roots what I love and miss so much food is authentic and funnamanel everything on the menu looks so good let’s just say I’m hooked you gotta try I so recommend this place I most definitely will be coming back and tasting everything on the menu and very awesome customer service I had tacos chorizo,,carne asada, and the flautas lemonade drink ❤❤⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
