Craving breakfast after a medical procedure, we got there an hour late. Tim invited us in and whipped up a solid breakfast for two that hit the spot. Huge pancakes and delicious sausage patties. We’ll definitely be back.

Outstanding little diner with great home style cooking! I’ve passed by here many times in my travels, but never had time to stop until today. There is plenty of room for tractor trailers in the parking lot. The coffee was good and the waitress didn’t allow my cup to go empty. The food came out quickly and there was a lot of it! Everything was fresh and cooked properly. The home fries had a TON of onions on top and the western omelet was huge with lots of fresh ingredients inside. Even the toast (texas toast) was perfect. The prices were extremely reasonable and the portions were huge. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. I would absolutely suggest stopping here if you are in the area. I will be back again next time I pass through!

Small-town feel. Our server, Lisa, was also the cook! She was working hard to get orders taken and food made. She was killing it. Food was delicious and the portions were generous. We’ll be back next time we are coming through the area!

We were hiking in the area and stopped by on the way out in heavy rain. This place was a cozy stop with great food. (I am gluten intolerant/sensitive but I do not have celiac) and it was a nice surprise that they are celiac conscious and the owner was so friendly! Got an awesome cheese steak on a gluten free sub roll.

What a charming and lovely family restaurant! The chef’s wife was our waitress since she was wonderful. And we had the homemade lasagna special and it was exceptional homemade sauce, Angus beef. It was amazing. Sorry I couldn’t be there for Mother’s Day when he has medallions of filet mignon plant and risotto. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re visiting Ricketts Glen Park.

The food was amazing, with enormous pancakes, and the staff was friendly. The remarkably honest owner even chased us down the road to return our forgotten credit card. Thank you very much!

What a great breakfast! We were on our way to Ricketts Glen and wanted to eat before a day of hiking. This is a mom and pop type restaurant with a Cheers feel to it. The food was well made and hot and to the owners credit, also knows how to handle the gluten free needs of our family. We were very appreciative for the toasted gfree bun for our 9 year old. It’s only 15 minutes from the state park entrance to the west.

Stopped on our way to Scranton. The owner was awesome and funny as heck. Very, very personal and made us feel like we’ve known him forever. And the food was excellent. Probably the freshest salad I’ve had in a long time. And my sister’s sweet potato fries had cinnamon on them special and were just right.
It’s the first we’ve been in with the new owners, but it won’t be the last. Definitely recommend!
