It’s a bit small for the volume that the store does. It’s packed often. They do burgers, shakes, and shoestring fries. They have a few other odds and ends, but it’s pretty standard burger diner. My kids feel that they have the best hot dogs. Their shakes are solid. Their veggies usually crispy and fresh. Small, but what they do they do well.

This is my favorite restaurant on earth. If you grew up in the 80s or early 90s eating at a long-gone G.D. Ritzy’s location like I did, you’ll find that the Evansville locations are exactly like your fuzzy childhood memories of G.D. Ritzy’s. The food always arrives quickly, yet always tastes fresh, and the lacy-edge hamburgers are perfect. Many places attempt them, but no one but G.D. Ritzy’s gets them just right. I make at least one trip here from Detroit per year, and usually more just to eat a meal or two at G. D. Ritzy’s.

I love GD. The food is always good. I did have to get my burger replaced cuz there was mold on the bun but it wasn’t a big deal, it happens, and the girl making them made sure to check all the buns after that. The woman that took my order is such a doll, I just love her. Ritzys is always a fav of mine and the service is always fantastic. I go inside to eat because I love the service.
