Very good Indian food. Was warmly welcomed by owner Zahid. When we asked if he could prepare some Indian dishes that was not on the menu, he immediately replied “Not a problem!”. Zahid even got his two Indian Chef’s from the kitchen to come out and make sure they understood. They didn’t disappoint and prepared them very well. We ordered the dal makhani ( not on menu) and it was delicious. The Lamb briyani, Gambas curry were also delicious

A Must-Visit Vegetarian Gem in Gueliz – G-Bombay By Zahid
If you’re looking for a break from Tagines while in Marrakesh, you have to head to the Gueliz district and visit G-Bombay By Zahid. We were staying in an apartment nearby and popped in after seeing some great reviews, it was within easy walking distance and exactly what we were looking for.
As vegetarians, we were specifically hunting for authentic Indian flavours, and this place absolutely delivered. However, you definitely don’t need to be a vegetarian to enjoy the food here, the flavours are world class, and the ambience is lovely.
The service was some of the most attentive I’ve experienced. The staff speaks fluent English, which made communication a breeze, and they were consistently polite and helpful—there was always someone standing close by if we needed a hand. Plus, the food arrived incredibly fast!
The highlight of the evening was meeting Zahid, the owner. He personally checked in to make sure everything was perfect and treated us to some of the most amazing Karak Chai (spiced milk tea) we’ve ever had.
If you find yourself in Marrakesh, I would highly recommend giving this place a visit!
