We waited 45 minutes for two pizzas. I ordered just plain cheese and my husband chicken bacon ranch. Ordered the garlic bread cheese bomb things & those were COVERED in grease, my husband was starving and took a bite and the drops of grease flowing out was so bad. They were sitting in a pool of grease before he had even picked it up. I ordered a single trip to the salad bar and that was fine. The pizzas were where I drew the line. Let the pictures speak for themselves. I ordered just a cheese pizza. The dough was almost raw, pizza looks clearly undercooked. The cheese was 4x a thick as the crust itself. Just so sad how this place ended up honestly. If it’s under new ownership, something really flopped when they walked in the door. Save your money & appetite! I hate to say it but a lean cuisine frozen pizza is better than what I was served tonight. We paid our bill & tipped our young server & walked out the door. Won’t be returning!
Look I know how hard it is to run a business and this place was one of our favorite places to go. I don’t know if management has changed or if someone else bought this place but it is a pizza place that is trying to masquerade as a sit down restaurant.
The servers did give us a 10% discount. Which amounted to 3.50. I see this as a genuine effort to help us but misses the point entirely. We know your pricing and are willing to pay full price, but the service and experience has to be changed.
Management if you are reading this please hire someone who actually knows how to run a restaurant and can manage your servers and cooks. These kids deserve better training. Without that you are putting them in situations that embarrasses them and your business.
The service was good, the high school waitress was attentive and friendly. I got the small deep dish with extra sauce. The pizza was good enough (fresh dough, saucy, etc.). It could have used more cheese as there were some bare areas of the pie. They also use nasty seed oils on the crust (Canola, soybean, etc.). I didn’t feel very good after eating it. The pizza got the job done but I wouldn’t return.
I’ve seen a few people refer to it as the best pizza in Anderson. I don’t know about that . I’ve even seen a couple of folks declare it the best pizza in the upstate. It definitely is not that .
Its chain pizza is what it is , albeit with a tastier crust than most chains . The dough is advertised as proofed for 48 hours , and it’s seems to be true .
The pizza is cooked in an open flame oven .
Half of this was double pepperoni with extra 3 cheese blend , the other half was pepperoni, Italian sausage and extra mozzarella.
It actually tasted a bit better when I warmed up the leftovers .
Is the best in Anderson ? I don’t know it’s the only pizza I’ve had in Anderson . It’s not even close to being the best in the upstate , but my wife liked the wings , loved the salad bar , and the pizza was tasty enough that we will be back again .
EDIT: I should have mentioned that of the 3 crust styles , I opted for the thin over the more traditional hand-tossed .
