Discovering food
Well this use to be an awesome place to go.
Now I’m surprised it’s still open, the place was dead as in it was empty. its a Tuesday at 7:30pm the place is opened til 10:00pm.
When we got home with our take out order, we then realized why it was dead at dinner time.
The shrimp quesadilla had 5 baby shrimp on it and the salad was just lettuce with a pinch of shredded cheese and some chicken.
For 30$ we felt ripped off.
The shrimp quesadilla use to be packed with shrimp and the salads were amazing with all vegetables and shredded chicken was so good.
Now we paid 30$ for an appetizer

I recently tried the Birria tacos at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Hays, and they were absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and packed with that authentic taste! I really hope they keep this on the menu as a permanent item. The customer service was top-notch, super friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

The employees are fine and it is a nice establishment that appears clean. My issue is with the portions/price. The food tastes good enough, wouldn’t turn my nose up at it. However, for the quality it is not worth the price. $15 after tax for two tacos and average quality rice and beans. The portions need to increase to reflect price or price needs to drop to reflect portions. I wouldn’t go here for the price when you have more authentic options across town for lower price. Try Cancun or one of the taco trucks

Review: my taco was decent, the burrito was HUGE! It pretty much what you’d expect from a regional chain restaurant. I will say I E’s a little surprised by the amount of cheese they smothered it with BUT I did say yes when she asked me if I wanted that – just didn’t expect that much. They also didn’t skimp on the steak to help fill the burrito. I wasn’t a fan of the serving though. You take a buzzer & when it goes off you hand it over & then they hand you the entrees or whatever you ordered. I understand why they do it that way, I do. Their “hot” sauce wasn’t hot, in my experience of it anyways.
Overall I’d recommend for a Gringo interpretation of Mexican food & tacos.

It’s a Taco shop and should have great tacos. The tortillas were old and fell apart. The chicken and beef fillings were great. The strawberry mango drink was awesome. It’s counter service, so really no service. The refried beans were bad – crusty, super thick and barely warm. It was not busy at all, maybe 2 other tables occupied and so that is no excuse.

Worst Fuzzy’s. Walk in with my wife and instead of sitting at the bar we were directed to the cash register after telling tender we were just there for drinks. Was very rude about his answer. Ok, no big deal. Stayed for a few drinks while waiting on kids games in town and got to talking with the guy and find out he’s part owner. Aside from being tidy, everything other than the glasses had a film on it, the coolers were gross as well as the daiquiri machines. Won’t be returning.
