Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening based on the glowing reviews and the table was not disappointed, the restaurant lived up to the hype. Both appetizers were absolutely delicious and the grilled pulpo was amongst some of the best cooked octopus I’ve had ever. The salmon filet with passion fruit reduction was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was outstanding. Wanting to try even more of their menu, dessert was ordered, a small passion fruit cheesecake which was the perfect way to end an incredible meal. I also recommend trying their homemade juices, and if you think you’ll have more than 2 glasses, opt for the pitcher as you’ll get 4 full glasses for $12 (versus a single glass for $5). My compliments to the chef for an outstanding dining experience, I will return to sample more of the menu.

We truly appreciated our server Jeremy — he was outstanding. He took great care of us and recommended the best dishes on the menu. The food was excellent — definitely 5 stars — and the atmosphere was cozy, perfect for having a conversation. The music wasn’t loud, which made it even nicer.
Jeremy clearly understands customer service. He seated my husband and me in the most comfortable spot, always greeted us with a genuine smile, and continuously checked in to see if we needed anything. His positive attitude lasted the entire night, not only with us but with every table he attended.
We absolutely recommend requesting Jeremy — you’ll be well taken care of!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! I loved all the meals that I had but the appetizers were the main character! The Ceviche Mixto & Choritos a la Chalaca were some of the best appetizers that I ever had! Jeremy was a very pleasant and knowledgeable waiter. I’ll request him next time I come back here.

We had a great start to New years as family but the cherry on top was here at Fusionista! The staff was super attentive, friendly, and funny! We asked a lot of questions and everything was answered. The food was so good we ordered the Charapa ceviche which was out of this world! I recommend highly! I ordered the lomo saltado with papa a la huancaina sauce so creamy and the meat was so tender it melts in your mouth. Thank you staff for being so sweet to our allergies and spice levels we appreciate everything you guys do ❤️!

The restaurant is small but cozy so make sure to book a reservation before coming especially on a weekend night. The service was excellent, our waitress was very attentive. The ceviche was very good, especially for New Jersey. I ordered the pesto pasta with steak- presentation was there but the flavors were definitely missing something. My friend ordered the lomo saltado and that was ok as well. The meat was tender so bonus points for that.

Incredible food! Steak was cooked to perfection and chimichurri was flavorful with the pesto pasta. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and our waitress Luana was attentive. Would come back again.

We had a really good food picks. We followed the Chef’s favorites and enjoyed it so much! We got the Grilled Pulpo, Ceviche Mixto and Lomo Saltado. Servings was actually more than we expected. On top of this, Luana took great care of us during our visit. Very approachable and accomodating. Must try place!

Had a wonderful experience at this Peruvian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, everything we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The service was excellent, especially our server Justin, who was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. Fusionista in Montclair is a gem. From the moment you walk in, the space is absolutely gorgeous, stylish, cozy, and welcoming. The staff were all so kind, and our server Luena truly made the experience special. She was attentive, friendly, and gave us amazing recommendations throughout the night. For mains, I ordered the arroz chaufa with tofu and my boyfriend got the lomo saltado, and we were blown away. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care.
We stopped in on a quiet Monday night after a snowstorm, which was lovely, but we have heard it gets very busy, so definitely make a reservation ahead of time. We were so full we could not even make it to dessert, but that just gives us an excuse to come back. Can’t wait for our next visit!
