Fusion @ Union focuses on quality food and drinks with signature pizza varieties, all set within a casual, urban setting that includes a rustic dining room, social bar and lounge, and a party room. Fusion @ Union features Pizza Romana, a square pie that uses the Poolish dough method of a 72 hour fermentation process and is cooked in a gas-fired brick floor oven. The more traditional round pizzas are also cooked in a brick oven pizza, on a very high temperature, which gives the pizza a great flavor leaving the integrity, chewy texture, and essence of the ingredients intact. The menu is a glorious combination of old and new school Italian cuisine with the touch of fusion. Locally sourced ingredients are incorporated whenever possible.

This is a busy and popular restaurant. I was a single dinner and they still gave me a booth, which was nice. The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Roman Vegetarian Pizza. It was just out of the oven and well prepared. I prefer thin crust pizza, so I was surprised when it arrived at the table. Even though it’s not what I usually order I am giving a five star review. No doubt for people who like a thicker pizza it’s perfect.

It was very loud to have a conversation.
We were really hungry. So for 2 of us, we ordered a lot of food.
The service was great. I started off with an expresso martini.That was delicious, knocked it over by accident and was given another one without a problem.
They could have burned off the marsala wine, a little bit more in the sauce. The chicken served with it was very tender.
The figJam prosciutto pizza was delicious as well as the chopped arugula salad.We loved that the most.
We also had garlic bread that wasn’t really that garlicky. All in all, we will definitely go back. They have a really extensive menu, but next time we’ll ask to sit in the restaurant area.We didn’t ask to sit in the bar area.That’s just where they sat us.
If you’re in the newburg area, definitely give this place a shot.

1st visit here and will definitely return. We had chicken parm dinners. This place makes a good chicken parm. Portions are huge. Service was good and attentive.

This place has become a perennial favorite for date night with my wife when we want to venture outside of our hometown.
As always the service was excellent from the bartender Christina, as was her recommendation of the sweet Thai ginger mussels.
I have yet to try something here that I don’t like. From the appetizers, to the pizzas, to the blackened chicken alfredo (my wife knew I enjoyed it because it got the closed eye smile that I get when I’m depriving myself of sight to focus on taste )
I also thoroughly enjoyed the spicy pomegranate margarita that the spicy rum complimented just right.

This fantastic restaurant has a funky vibe and great food. You can come here with your whole family or just sit at the lively bar. Great appetizers. My chicken Milanese was outstanding and the pistachio ricotta cake was delicious. The drinks are also great and the service top notch. I wish I lived closer but I’m sure I’ll be back soon!

We went to Fusion @ Union to celebrate Mother’s Day. Right across from the Newburgh Mall, we had a pleasant meal as the it wasn’t packed and there was plenty of seating available outside. They even had a special Mother’s Day menu on top of their already large menu, which includes make you own pizza so you will definitely find something the every taste. They have mimosas with by the glass or bottomless for brunch. There is a bar too just in case you prefer bar seating. I believe they have a brick oven a must try and definitely recommend.

I got calamari and the nachos for appetizers and they were delicious. My father cleaned off his plate and the calamari melted in your mouth. For the moan I got penne alla vodka, it was good. Tasted creamy and it had just the right amount of Parmesan. Food came relatively quickly and had a bunch of drink options. My little cousins got to color and loves the food.

Delicious food in a casual, comfortable setting. Good portions – even the half salad was huge. Highly recommend the Broccoli Rabe and Chorizo appetizer, Pasta Bolognaise, and the Tiramisu. Reasonably priced wines. Plenty of parking. Across from the Newburgh Mall.
