Really beautiful location first of all, as someone who misses Genji’s, this place captures the feeling wonderfully.
It’s classic hibachi, well trained professionals cooking right in front of you. Large portion sizes balance out the somewhat high prices, but you pay for the experience for sure.
There was a moment where our chef was wheeling his cart to our station and tapped my daughter on her shoulder as he walked by, causing her to look around for someone who was already past her. Really funny, he was an especially exceptional hibachi chef, specifically because he was funny, charismatic and created an environment for everyone at the table.

We took a large party to Fusion for my wife’s birthday because we have a long standing tradition of going for hibachi. We have become displeased with our usual place in Hilliard though, so this was our first visit to Fusion. Overall, very pleased with our choice! Our hibachi master was great (Chef “G”!) and the food was excellent.
My one-star deduction was for the customer service. As this was our first ever visit we were unaware of the birthday discount (50% off birthday person’s entree) that their policy limits to +/- 3 days. We were there 4 days before her birthday, and even though the hostess said that the server does have a little leeway to be flexible, our server wouldn’t budge and extend the courtesy of the extra day, which was a bummer.

Fusion is always a go-to spot for me whenever I’m in Grove City. I usually grab a seat at the bar, so I can’t speak to the hibachi experience—but I can definitely vouch for the excellent food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. Wawa and Lucy always take great care of me, and after just a few visits, they even remembered me by name—which says a lot about how much they value their guests. I highly recommend stopping in for a meal. Just a heads-up: it tends to get busy later in the evening, especially with groups coming in for hibachi, so making a reservation or arriving early is a smart move.

We made reservations here 1/7/26 to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Brought our family. Had a wonderful time!!! Friendly greeting, prompt service with a smile. Fikki was our server and she was fantastic . Our Chef was awesome as well although sadly I didn’t catch his name. Food was delicious and hot sake was a treat. We were even thanked by someone working behind the bar when we left. Our party had a memorable evening. Will definitely go back.

The temperature in the restaurant was ridiculous. It was freezing cold. Our party of 4 wore our winter coats our entire time we were there. I had to ask multiple times for a drink refill. Our server would vanish for large periods of time. Lastly, the food was not flavorful and the cook made everyone’s food at the table and forgot mine. Then I had to wait for my chicken to be cooked while the entire table sits and waits on me. By this time my entire dinner was ruined. No one apologized and no discount was offered. I’ll never return.

Waited 25 minutes so be seated (not in hibachi area but regular seating), to then sit for 25 minutes at our table with no waiter to acknowledge us. When we said something to the manager they made an excuse of the waiters have to do the tables and the bar. That’s a big area for 2 people on a Saturday night in grove city. At least I got seated this time (we got up and left), last time we put our name on the list and they never called our name or anything after being there for over an hour. This place is unorganized.

This Japanese restaurant impressed me with their well-decorated rooms and Japanese style paintings. I ordered the pork chop and California rolls in the lunch menu. It came with white rice, miso soup, and salad. Miso soup and salad were amazing as an appetizer, which made me expect my bento box. It came out quickly. The crispy pork chop was fried decently with bbq sauce. Sushi roll was good. But the white rice was kind of plain. I did not know what I should eat with it. Hope they would add some toppings on it. My servers were friendly and WiFi was fast. This great restaurant also had an attractive sushi bar and hibachi shows.
