Excellent overall! I’ve been going to the one in Washington, PA for years and this was my first time at this location. Honestly while Washington may be a little closer to my home, this one is better.
Maybe we just had a lucky day or something but honestly the salad seemed fresher, the restaurant was cleaner and it was just a better experience overall.

We had booked a reservation 2 weeks in advance. No point in even booking – they overbooked their reservations and paid no attention to them anyway. When we got there they put us at the bottom of the list of people waiting and told us it would be 45 min wait. Said they would call us on cell phone when our table was ready. They NEVER called. I felt terrible for the hostess to have to deal with that disaster and all the frustrated people.

The atmosphere is extremely cool, but their food is more on the average side. Their eel rice bowl had very little compared to the expensive price, and their chicken katsu wasn’t that good. I did like their hibachi dishes and bento box, though. Their interior design is on point and made this experience worthwhile.

Fusion Japanese Steakhouse in the Cabella plaza in West Virginia was not a delightful experience for us.
It started well. We were seated right away but with little regard for our mobility issues. (The hostess all but sprinted, and we almost lost her.)
We waited almost 25 minutes for our waitress to take even a drink order. We explained we were ready to place our meal, too, since we had ample time to review the menu. (She brought the drink unapologetically. They didn’t have lemons for the water.)
Another 5 minutes or so later, we were brought salad- typical bag lettuce with a mayo based sauce.
Next came fishy soup, but the kids enjoyed it.
We waited another 35 minutes for a chef.
Tables seated well after us we’re waited on and nearly finished, and we still hadn’t seen a chef. Asked a manager to explain. Told chef was still coming. Waited. Waited. Waited. Put on coats.
Left restaurant an hour and 21 minutes after walking in the door, overpaying for the few items we were offered, as the chef was just showing up, telling us he was sorry, they were busy.

Very good food. Beautiful decor. I had general tsos chicken with fried rice, spicy tuna roll, salmon skin roll and a peanut butter landslide cake. My bill was a little under $50 including 20% tip. What I expected to pay. No more no less. Everything was very fresh and non suspect. What you see is what you get here! I’ll be returning.

The ambience was nice, the food is very good my Husband ordered dynamite and I ordered sushi calamari. The service was poor. Our server takes forever before we can find him and get a refill for our drinks, the place is not even busy at all.

The parking is terrible almost didn’t eat here because of it. Sitting around the grill watching your food prepared is definitely entertaining. Not sure I would eat here again if you have never been there definitely worth checking it out once.

Called in made a reservation for Saturday at 6pm seated as soon as we arrived at 5:58. They seem to be following all guidelines at this time. Food was great. They play some music to add to the experience. We had a party of 4. Wife and my 2 girls were steak and fried rice with soup and salad. I had steak and scallops. Each meal also come with 2 shrimp.
Salad was great the dressing was very good.
Would def recommend, we will probably eat here again in the future as we visit the area for the next 4 years.
