I’ve been waiting for some Filipino food in town and finally have it! The Filipino lunch special is so good especially the chicken on a stick and the pancit. We also tried the barbacoa tacos and I was surprised how flavorful they were compared to the other Mexican restaurants around town.

So disappointed this is actually one of my mine and my daughter’s favorite place to get tacos. But this time has really upset me…. I have ordered the fish tacos before and they’ve been good but this time I had gone in to do a pick up order. My daughter ordered three Asada tacos and I ordered two fish tacos. The total came out to about $18 which when you’re a single mom is a pretty hefty amount especially when they’re not even full size Tacos but we treat ourselves every once in a while because we really do enjoy the authenticity of this spot. We are Hispanic and moved to Missouri about 6 years ago from California and have found it incredibly difficult to find good Hispanic food. Now the fish tacos are $4.10/each, keep in mind they are NOT full size tacos. When I got home and went to start eating I had to literally search for the fish because of how small it was. It really bothers me to have to leave this review but I honestly felt robbed this time

My new go to date night spot! Great atmosphere with very friendly staff. Don Pancho has a salsa bar, great chips, generous portions of queso cheese, excellent food… The sentence is running on but so are my list of compliments. The food was inexpensive and fast. Most importantly the restaurant felt authentic which I already expected, what I didn’t expect was to be able to see the food being grilled from our particular table and the chef was happily singing to the music playing throughout the restaurant. Good vibes all around. We definitely will be back.

This is true Mexican food, no Tex-Mex here. The Margaritas are good, too.
For me this is a regular stop when in COMO. It’s an order at the counter and find a table restaurant. Once your food is ready, they’ll bring it to your table. There’s no complimentary chips, but you can order a basket and get yourself some salsa from the Salsa Bar. The salsa bar has a variety of at least 4 different salsas and as a bonus, you can enjoy some pickled veggies.
My most recent visit was a group of 7 and I was the only one who did not order the daily special. The special was, Birria Tacos with sides of Beans and Rice. I enjoyed the, Shrimp Tacos (street style), with no sides. My tacos were excellent and I was impressed with the amount of shrimp that were put in the tacos. My dining partners aka cousins liked theirs as well. A couple thought theirs was a little overly spicy, but I told them that is the joy of Mexican food.
We also shared a order of Beef Nachos and they were delicious. The chips were thick and they were topped with plenty of ground beef and cheese. My next visit, I think I’ll enjoy some nachos and a quesadilla.
The atmosphere is kind of a dive, but that is part of the charm. I also, like the big chalkboard menus and wish I had the penmanship of the person who writes on the boards. The staff is friendly and I was impressed that one said, good-bye to us as they were getting off duty and leaving for the day.
Again, let me remind you, this is authentic Mexican food. It is food that you need to experience, so get yourself here ASAP.

Certainly not what I was expecting. Walking in I didn’t expect much since it’s a very small place that’s honestly pretty dirty. But I hung in there and I’m glad I did. I had the best Mexican nachos I have ever had. The burritos were excellent as well, but I think I liked the nachos best. They had a bar of sauces and toppings for your food which I thought to be very cool. The avacado sauce was wonderful. I like how the kitchen is open so you can watch them cook. The service was great, it’s very reasonably priced, I loved it. They lost a star for lack of cleanliness, but they have a drive thru which I will probably use next time. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommend

If you want to enjoy not only the most delicious tacos you’ll ever eat, but enjoy them in the company of a family owned local business that truly care not only about the quality and great taste of their food, but also getting to know you and will remember you when come in again. Their tacos are by far the best in town. Their slogan is “See you tomorrow”. And they have seen me day after day at times. I highly recommend this place. They also have a salsa bar with a range of mild to spicy salsa’s, jalapeños, pickled carrots, onions and fresh limes. They also serve alcoholic beverages that are equally delicious. They have indoor seating as well as an outdoor patio.

Amazingly seasoned carnitas platter with a pile of shredded pork, rice, frijoles, and 6 soft shells. Mild and a little spicy sauces on the side. All for $12.99 on Thursday eve. Had to go back again for another serving on Saturday.
