This was reminiscent of a Japanese convenience store with cheap eats and a variety of snacks. The drinks and snacks were a bit pricey but the meals were pretty cheap and very filling. I tried the katsu don and loved the flavors of the pork, egg, and pickled ginger. The sauce also help season the rice. It was a bit on the salty side but it was an enjoyable meal nonetheless.

I love this place! The food is always AMAZING, the staff is friendly, and the selection of Japanese snacks, desserts, drinks, frozen food, and instant noodles is great! My personal favorite dish is the katsudon, which is simply to die for!!

Looks like take-out only, there’s no dining room. The Bento is good, and it is a generous serving of rice and chicken along with a steamed broccoli and carrots. There is a small area of Japanese grocery items from confections, candy, rice crackers, dried squid to rice noodles. I love the little soft cake rolls!

Sensational food. Generous amount at decent prices. The Ginger Pork Bento was phenomenal! Minimal wait on food preparation. Lovely presentation of food. Very helpful, polite staff. Outdoor seating only.

Went yesterday and purchased the teriyaki salmon. Hair was in my rice. I took it back they refunded me and apologized. Asked if I wanted remade but there were out of the salmon. (I don’t eat meat) I told them it’s okay, left the establishment and I thought of a solution and called asking if I could get the mackerel as replacement. They said they couldn’t do it although they just told me they would remake a dish. Both cost the same price. That does not make sense. This is my second time having an issue when returning an item. I won’t be returning.

Such a great little Japanese convenience shop. My son and I go at least once a week. The staff is always kind and pleasant. The bento is perfect. They have both shelf and frozen snacks/treats, as well as specialty beverages.

I love this place. It’s so fun getting to try new foods and incredibly easy to do it here. They have a wide variety of hot foods that are made in house as well as a whole grocery section. It is inexpensive and accessible for those who have little to no experience with Japanese foods. Definitely go in and look around, you won’t be disappointed!

I absolutely adore this shop! Such a fun collection of drinks, snacks, and lunch options. I recently started working nearby and it’s become my regular lunch stop or if I need a snack to hold me over until dinner. I love trying new things every time I go! All the workers are incredibly kind and the food is prepared so fresh and fast! Can’t recommend this enough, such a wonderful edition to Five Points.

Adorable and I had been wanting to try a Japanese convenience store onigiri for weeks. Got takoyaki too and it was delicious! Will be back soon.

Although I found the servings kind of small, they do have amazing food and service! Dorian, the guy managing the place, was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He took his time to show us around, offer recommendations, and even have friendly conversation. The place is a grab-and-go as well as a Japanese mini-mart. Some of the snack items were a bit pricy however, most likely due to importing. They were out of grab-and-go so they cooked us a fresh meal in 5 minutes! Definitely returning soon.
