Furman’s Burger Bar in Canton, North Carolina is an absolute gem, especially if you’re a wing lover.
The prices alone are incredible, and the deals make it even better —
Wings Wednesday at just $0.75 per wing is hands- down one of the best values around.
You do have to order them in increments of six, but trust me, that’s not a problem once you taste them.
The teriyaki wings were a surprising knockout — a solid 10/10.
The flavor was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and incredibly satisfying. What really sets these wings apart, though, is the size.
These are not tiny, itty-bitty, random miscellaneous pieces of chicken — they’re big, bulky, thick wings absolutely loaded with meat.
Juicy, filling, and cooked just right.
Between the delicious wings, unbeatable prices, and generous portions, Furman’s Burger Bar has officially earned a spot on my must-return list.

Food quality and design is off the charts. Totally unexpected this place to be so amazing. Little more beach than mountains which makes this place a real gem. Don’t need to drive 4+ hours to experience this. Literally felt like I was on vacation. Girlfriend is ready to go now and I don’t even wanna leave. Atmosphere & music is good

The food quality here is outstanding. Stopped for lunch on our way home from Gatlinburg and wow what a gem! There were multiple items I was willing to order from tacos, smash burgers and salads to sandwiches. I ended up ordering the Greek salad and it was fantastic – fairly large serving with fresh spring and romaine mix, tomato, Greek olives, bell pepper, red onion, feta, and banana peppers with Greek dressing on the side. So good!

I have been coming here for over a year and has always been a favorite spot to eat. But this most recent visit makes me reluctant to return. I have never had a problem with the food. Honestly always really good and delicious. The service at times has been a little hit or miss due to staffing it seems but the food makes up for it.
When we went in for our most recent visit though we were seated immediately and got our drinks and appetizer pretty quickly. When she brought our appetizer and drinks we ordered. About 5:44 is when our order was placed. We waited for 45-50 minutes before deciding to leave. As most party’s big and small had been served during that time that came in after us and it was frustrating not even being told sorry for the wait or anything. Right before we left they did try to get us our food we thought but it was for another table that had walked in after our appetizer’s had came out. That was the last straw for us and we were done. Even though she had told us our food was finally ready not really sure if it was but I wasn’t waiting anymore.
I don’t usually write negative reviews as I understand stuff happens in a kitchen but the lack of communication and the feeling of your order being the lowest priority in the whole store is frustrating even though that probably wasn’t the case.

Furman’s is the most authentic Smashburger around, if not in North Carolina. But that’s not it, this will equipped Kitchen pumps out mahi bites, and Brussel sprouts that are top-notch just like the burgers!

Furman Burger Bar surprised us with how good their tacos were! The flavors were fresh, the portions were generous, and everything was nicely seasoned. The atmosphere is fun and casual — perfect for hanging out with friends or grabbing a quick bite. Service was friendly, though it took a little longer than expected for the food to come out. Still, the quality made it worth the wait. Definitely recommend trying the tacos if you stop by!

Ain’t no reason anything should be less than 5 stars! I love the Canton location cause it’s way closer to my house and the food is honestly better at this location imo! Everyone staff wise is great!!! My favorite is their Katy burger but they have amazing wings with house made ranch! Also steak night on weekends! Please stop by here if you pass through Canton/Clyde, ❤️

JUST WOW! Found this place by chance, so happy I did! Great specials, friendly and attentive bartender. MaKayla was great. Wings were the best I’ve had in awhile. The menu selection is extensive. A little pricey, but understandable all ingredients are fresh. The burgers are amazing. Highly recommend.
