Parking was insane, but there was a market type show taking place so I’m sure that was part of the issue.
We were seated very quickly and the service followed as expected. The drinks were quick and cold, the selection was really good and the food was delicious. We all sort of shared and the whole party agreed there wasn’t a bad thing on the menu.
Also, their bloody Mary’s are over the top. So if you like those they are highly recommended.
Let’s not forget the view! We got a cool little airshow while we ate and watched the water and shore fisherman.
The only issue isn’t their fault, but the pier is being repaired and can be loud/annoying.

This will be an honest and truthful review, as always. My husband and I came to Palm Coast on business. We were hungry and chose this restaurant after reading rave reviews. Alas! In our opinion, these reviews are greatly exaggerated. To cut a long story short, we ended up getting food poisoning, experiencing vomiting and diarrhea – sorry for the details, but those with sensitive stomachs should take this into account. We have absolutely no complaints about the server; Steph B was polite and attentive. The weather was cold, so we ordered NE Clam Chowder soup, which seemed quite edible at first glance. However, the calamari were green and spoiled inside, the breading was falling off and seemed to have a life of its own, and there were some strange tentacles on the plate with a sour sauce-like substance. The main course wasn’t much better. The Mahi and Grouper were dry and lacked seasoning, the French fries were stale, and the coleslaw was drowning in mayonnaise. Do you think I’m being picky? Absolutely not! In two years, this is the worst restaurant we’ve been to. The only good thing was the water with lemon. I don’t recommend it, I don’t advise it, I don’t encourage anyone to go there. Take care of yourselves! And good health to everyone!

Jessica was very attentive, and kept up with us, ensuring everything was good at our table. The tacos were AMAZING!!! So good my wife said her grouper sandwich was only okay after trying the tacos. 1000% going to be back for more.

Spectacular tonight! Everything about this visit was perfect. We sat on the outside patio with an ocean view and watched the dolphins jump throughout dinner. The sky was painted pink. I had the most wonderful special…. $25 for clam chowder, fish & chips, and key lime pie! The fish was bright white and battered to perfection. The clam chowder was honestly the 2nd best I have ever had and that says alot. It was almost buttery. Our waitress was very kind and overall, it was just a magnificent night. Thank you!

9/27, Another Delicious meal! We both had the Fresh Catch. He had the sandwich and I had the fresh catch Reuben. Both very generous portions. Outstanding!!
9/14, The Bacon-wrapped shrimp is delicious and pares nicely with the Funky Pelican drink. He had the fresh Cod sandwich, grilled perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. Delicious!!! We’ll be back!!

We had a fantastic lunch at the Funky Pelican. We started with clam chowder and had the Pineapple BBQ Wings and the Mahi Tacos. The portions were generous and tasty. We had a great table next to the window with a view of the ocean. Kaylee was an attentive waitress.

I always pass by this place when visiting family in the area, but finally got to check it out for myself back in July. They had unique drinks and the food was good. The view from my seat was fantastic, but I will say the waitress was a little rude when we requested the Bloody Mary because ‘it is a lot of work to make it.’ A weird thing to say to make the customer not pick something. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.

I was here again. I just love this place. A visitors paradise. Energetic, happy staff, always awesome!! The food is OMG good! I had dinner here this evening (24 Oct.) Beautiful breezy day sitting out on the deck, overlooking the beach, and ocean. You can see at least 5 miles up, and down the coast. The coolest setting. Outside dining area is awesome. My favorite place now. You’ll love this pub.

Great views of the beach. Our server was friendly, but overall service was slow, even though it was not crowded. Prices were fair. I ordered Cajun fish tacos, but got over-cooked grilled. The clam chowder had far too much salt. Calamari had no flavor.

Nice, fresh fish. The server was great and she and the kitchen were accommodating to dietary needs. The jerk shrimp with pineapple salsa was wonderful, as were the beans, rice, and plantains. Very yummy key lime pie, too. The view was wonderful! The pier is under construction, fyi.
