Loved their breaded tenderloin and chicken sandwiches, comes out just right. The western burger was nice and hot along with shoestring fries.

Super lovely little Dairy & Grill. Stopped here while going in a drive and it was such a lovely experience. The people are nice, the food was amazing, ice cream was awesome, and it overall was beautiful.

This place is conveniently located on the way to the Coralville reservoir. We recently enjoyed a great experience having lunch at this place. They have plenty of seating outside enabling you to social distance. And the food tasted wonderful and the portions just were right for the kids.

The Funcrest is now better than ever! The new owners have done a wonderful job of sprucing the place up, without losing the old school feel and charm. I have fond memories of the Funcrest from my childhood, and I am so happy that it has been returned to its former glory and then some. The picnic tables are clean and the food is hot and delicious. Long live the Funcrest.

We visited this restaurant three times during the week we were there. Everyone in the group couldn’t stop talking about the food.
Excellent burgers, malts, onion rings and fries.

Unfortunately the third time everyone was disappointed. Being very busy, we believe that they forgot to season the burgers. Asked to for the malts to not be made till the food was ready but received them ten minutes before the food was done. Then we discovered that they forgot a burger in our order. By the time we had the whole order the malts were melted.

We look forward to our next visit but will order in smaller groups and wait till the burgers are done before ordering anything that melts.

Everything a summer food place should be. They have gone above and beyond to create a beautiful spot to eat. I cannot have gluten, so most of the food is off limits to me, but the staff went out of their way to find out if the ice cream is gluten free, and most of it is! Super friendly and clean, too. Great family stop.

What a fun place! Very nostalgic. Good food and good music. Wonderful people. History is something to read about. We were here on way back from South Dakota. Was right across from our campground – very convenient and dangerous – had 2 banana splits while we were ther.

If you haven’t tried the tenderloin(grilled or fried)……you are truly missing out. I wish this place wasn’t so close to my house because now I’m craving this meal all the time!! But seriously, this place is amazing. Clean. Nice people. Great food. Love it!!
